We are seeking an experienced Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) Developer to join our Business Applications team. APL, ranked among Computerworld's Top Places to Work in IT for seven consecutive years, offers you the chance to make a significant impact.
As an Oracle EBS Developer, you will provide technical solutions and support for APL's Oracle E-Business Suite, with a focus on custom extensions, integrations, interfaces, and enterprise applications supporting the Oracle Projects, Accounts Payable, Procurement, and General Ledger business areas. Your key responsibilities will include:
  • Working closely with business analysts, stakeholders, and fellow developers
  • Designing, developing, testing, and maintaining scalable solutions that enhance business processes
  • Improving operational efficiency
  • Supporting the continued evolution of APL's enterprise application ecosystem.

Qualifications
You meet our minimum qualifications if you...
  • Analyze business requirements and design, develop, enhance, and maintain Oracle EBS customizations, extensions, interfaces, conversions, reports, and other technical solutions (CEMLI/RICE components).
  • Demonstrate 5+ years of hands-on Oracle EBS development experience
    • Oracle SQL, PL/SQL, database design, data modeling, and performance tuning
    • Oracle EBS Open Interfaces, Public APIs, Concurrent Programs, and Workflow
    • System integration development, testing, troubleshooting, and performance optimization
    • Oracle APEX application development, including dashboards, reports, workflow solutions, and data-driven applications
  • Perform root cause analysis and resolve complex production issues.
  • Support production Oracle EBS applications, including Oracle Service Requests (SRs), patch analysis, and coordination with Oracle Support.
  • Produce and maintain technical designs, code documentation, test plans, and deployment documentation.
  • Support software releases, system upgrades, patches, testing, and production deployments.
  • Experience supporting Oracle EBS business areas such as Financials, Procurement, Projects, or related enterprise modules.
  • Experience with Oracle Application Framework (OAF), Oracle Forms/Reports and BI Publisher.
  • Experience developing enterprise integrations using Oracle EBS APIs, RESTful web services, JSON/XML, file-based integrations, and other enterprise integration technologies.
  • Are able to obtain Secret level security clearance. If selected, you will be subject to a government security clearance investigation and must meet the requirements for access to classified information. Eligibility requirements include U.S. citizenship.

The referenced pay range is based on JHU APL's good faith belief at the time of posting. Actual compensation may vary based on factors such as geographic location, work experience, market conditions, education/training and skill level with consideration for internal parity. For salaried employees scheduled to work less than 40 hours per week, annual salary will be prorated based on the number of hours worked. APL may offer bonuses or other forms of compensation per internal policy and/or contractual designation. Additional compensation may be provided in the form of a sign-on bonus, relocation benefits, locality allowance or discretionary payments for exceptional performance. APL provides eligible staff with a comprehensive benefits package including retirement plans, paid time off, medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, long-term disability, flexible spending accounts, education assistance, and training and development.
