Oracle EBS developers typically work closely with other company professionals to meet specific goals for the department and document their progress and development. The career qualifications include a bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems, or a related field. You must also understand how to use Oracle software development products, which you can learn through undergraduate work, on-the-job training, or Oracle certification coursework. Additional qualifications include knowledge of programming languages like SQL and XML, as well as the ability to work as part of a team.

What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive as an Oracle EBS Developer, and why are they important?

Familiarity with tools such as Oracle Workflow, OA Framework, and experience using version control systems and Oracle Application Framework (OAF) is typically required. Analytical thinking, effective communication, and problem-solving abilities are critical soft skills that help in translating business requirements into technical solutions. These skills and qualifications are essential to ensure robust system customizations, seamless integrations, and efficient support for business processes within complex enterprise environments.

What are the typical challenges faced by an Oracle EBS Developer when working on system customizations and integrations?
