Working alongside experienced developers and architects, this role contributes to the design, loading, validation, and optimization of dimensional data models while continuously expanding technical expertise in SQL Server, ETL development, and data warehousing best practices.
Essential Responsibilities

  • Build and support SSIS packages that extract, transform, and load data into the enterprise data warehouse.
  • Develop and maintain ETL/ELT processes that support dimensional and fact table loading.
  • Troubleshoot data discrepancies, failed jobs, and application logic through systematic debugging and analysis.
  • Write clean, well-documented, and maintainable code following established development standards.
  • Perform thorough testing and validation prior to production deployments.
  • Participate in code reviews and collaborate with senior developers, BI analysts, and data architects.
  • Support scheduled production jobs and assist with troubleshooting routine ETL and data load issues.
  • Continuously build technical expertise in T-SQL, SSIS, dimensional modeling, and enterprise data warehousing.

Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related technical field, or an equivalent combination of education and relevant programming experience.
  • Minimum of two (2) years of hands-on programming experience using modern programming or database programming languages.
  • Strong programming fundamentals, including logical problem-solving, debugging, and analytical thinking.
  • Experience with at least one procedural database programming language such as T-SQL or PL/SQL, or demonstrated ability to quickly learn SQL development.
  • Understanding of programming concepts including conditionals, loops, functions, data types, and error handling.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality, thoroughly tested code.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with T-SQL, PL/SQL, or other relational database programming languages.
  • Experience with Microsoft SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) or other ETL platforms such as Informatica.
  • Experience developing enterprise data warehouse solutions.
  • Knowledge of dimensional (Kimball) data modeling methodologies.
  • Experience with Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle, or Databricks.
  • Experience with Power BI, including semantic model development.
  • Familiarity with version control and collaborative software development practices.
  • Healthcare, claims, or clinical data experience is a plus.

Why Join TSPMG?
  • Physician-led, patient-centered organization.
  • Collaborative, highly skilled Business Intelligence and Data Warehouse team.
  • Opportunity to work with enterprise-scale healthcare data and modern analytics solutions.
  • Mentorship from experienced data architects and senior developers.
