The Opportunity

The Senior Oracle Fusion Administrator provides advanced technical and functional administration for VELERA's Oracle Fusion Cloud EPM and ERP systems, supporting backend systems processes along with both internal stakeholders and external clients. This role ensures end-to-end reliability of finance data pipelines, application integrations, performance optimization and downstream reporting deliverables, including maintaining backend artifacts. This role also supports operational and statutory financial reporting outputs across multiple delivery channels and enterprise application workflows.

Day in the Life

  • Configure backend scripts in Oracle EPM (EPBCS) application to Ingest, normalize, and transform financial and statistical datasets from upstream source systems.
  • Create dimensions hierarchies and metadata in EDMCS and load both transaction & metadata data within Oracle Fusion (EPM and ERP) to enable downstream analytics and business decision support.
  • Design modern business rules and calc scripts in the reporting cubes within EPM (EPBCS).
  • Design accurate planning and forecasting forms and assign business rules and calc scripts to the forms as needed in EPM (EPBCS).
  • Build and implement robust integration processes using OIC (Oracle Integration Cloud) between upstream and downstream applications for accounting and finance reporting as needed.
  • Support EDMCS-to-EPM & ERP integration and governance, ensuring master data/metadata (dimensions, hierarchies, mappings) is synchronized and accurately represented across environments.
  • Setup Job schedules and monitor the process closely and ensure automated job status notifications are sent to stakeholders.
  • Design and build financial and statistical reports including setting up automated distribution or bursting of the reports to assigned end-users.
  • Conduct performance optimization on production and non-production applications in a timely fashion.
  • Deploys application cloning and/or migration of the backend artifacts from test to production systems or vice versa.
  • Setup security access and ensure end-users are assigned to the proper security groups.
  • Configure and support ERP financial modules (AR, AP, GL, Fixed Assets, Projects) including job scheduling, data maps and close-cycle runbooks as needed.
  • Develop and maintain Oracle Transactional Business Intelligence (OTBI) and BI Publisher (BIP) reports, including dataset design, parameterization, scheduling, and ongoing operational support in ERP.
  • Perform quarterly and monthly maintenance activities, including coordinating end-to-end data patches/updates, and documenting impacts to integrations and reporting for all applications.
  • Maintain process continuity by documenting operational runbooks and recurring procedures; execute cross-training; and deliver end-user training on data availability, retrieval methods, and newly deployed capabilities in EPM and ERP.
  • Perform additional technical and functional responsibilities as assigned to support Oracle Fusion platform operations and finance reporting objectives.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in business (Information Systems, Accounting, Finance or related field) preferred.
  • Certification in Oracle Fusion EPM (EPBCS) is preferred.
  • Eight (8) years' experience in a financial systems and technology environment, preferably in the financial services industry.
  • Experience with Oracle Fusion applications (EPM and ERP), including EDMCS and OIC; experts in Oracle EPM is preferred.
  • Experience with Groovy scripting or EPM Automate.
  • Proficiency in configuring process workflows for EPBCS functions (Planning, Forecasting, Security Access, Dimensions/Hierarchies maintenance and Reports).
  • Proficiency in configuring processing flow for ERP functions (AR, AP, GL, Assets and Projects).
  • Proficiency in configuring security access in Oracle Fusion along with developing, designing and maintaining OTBI and BIP reports.
  • Experience in SQL/PLSQL and knowledge of relational databases is preferred
  • Experience with financial modeling, Oracle SmartView and SQL is required.
