Job Description
We are seeking a Manager, LBS Technology Finance Function Support to lead the team responsible for supporting and optimizing our Oracle Finance application environment. This is a highly visible working-manager opportunity requiring a strong combination of Oracle Finance expertise, production application support, people's leadership, and business partnership.
The Manager will lead a team of internal employees and managed service resources responsible for supporting Oracle Fusion Finance applications and related financial functions, including General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Fixed Assets, Projects, Cost Accounting, and related integrations.
This individual will oversee day-to-day production support and incident resolution while simultaneously driving system enhancements, releases, process improvements, and strategic Finance technology initiatives. The Manager will partner closely with Finance leadership, Finance Operations, IT, Data & Integration teams, Release Management, facility Finance stakeholders, and external vendors.
Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and develop the Finance Technology application support team, including internal employees and managed service resources.
  • Provide hands-on leadership for Oracle Finance production support, troubleshooting, incident resolution, and escalations.
  • Ensure operational stability while proactively identifying and resolving issues before they significantly impact Finance operations.
  • Oversee support and optimization of Oracle Finance modules and related integrations.
  • Manage and prioritize production issues, enhancement requests, releases, testing activities, and strategic projects.
  • Partner with Finance stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into effective technology solutions.
  • Manage third-party vendors and managed service partners, including performance, accountability, support requests, and escalations.
  • Lead and support system upgrades, patches, enhancements, testing, and application releases.
  • Partner with Integration teams to address interface failures and ensure reliable movement of financial data between applications.
  • Drive continuous improvement, automation, and optimization across Finance technology and application support processes.
  • Support key Finance transformation initiatives, including Accounts Payable technology modernization, Oracle Fusion optimization, Oracle EPM initiatives, payment modernization, and other enterprise Finance projects.
  • Build strong relationships across Finance and Technology and serve as a trusted partner for application strategy, operational support, and continuous improvement.

This is not a purely people-management position. The successful candidate must have sufficient hands-on Oracle Finance knowledge to understand complex issues, challenge assumptions, guide technical and functional resources, and become actively involved when necessary to drive issues to resolution.
The position is currently structured as a hybrid, with a preference for candidates who can work onsite four days per week and remotely on Fridays. Approximately 10% travel may be required.
Must Haves
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field.
  • 8+ years of experience within enterprise Finance applications, ERP systems, Finance technology, Oracle applications, or related application support functions.
  • Direct Oracle Finance experience. Oracle Fusion Finance is strongly preferred; candidates with substantial Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) Financials experience may also be considered.
  • Hands-on functional/application support experience within an Oracle Finance environment-not solely infrastructure or end-user support.
  • Working knowledge of Finance processes and Oracle financial modules, particularly General Ledger and Accounts Payable, with exposure to additional modules such as Fixed Assets, Projects, Cost Accounting, AR, and/or Cash Management.
  • Demonstrated people with leadership experience managing application support or Finance technology professionals.
  • Ability and willingness to operate as a hands-on working manager, becoming directly involved in complex production issues and escalations when needed.
  • Strong production application support experience, including incident management, troubleshooting, root-cause analysis, and operational stability.
  • Experience balancing production support with enhancement, implementation, testing, release, and project-delivery responsibilities.
  • Experience managing or working closely with managed service providers and/or third-party applications to support vendors.
  • Strong stakeholder-management experience with the ability to partner effectively across Finance and Technology.
  • Demonstrated ability to quickly learn about a complex application environment, take ownership, prioritize competing demands, and proactively drive issues to resolution.
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and influencing skills.

Nice to Haves
  • Deep Oracle Fusion Finance implementation, support, or optimization experience.
  • Experience across multiple Oracle Fusion Finance modules, including GL, AP, AR, Fixed Assets, Cash Management, Projects, and Cost Accounting.
  • Oracle EPM experience, particularly FCCS and ARCS.
  • Previous Accounting or Finance experience in addition to Finance technology/application support.
  • Experience supporting a large-scale Finance or ERP transformation.
  • Experience with AP automation, OCR/IDR technology, AI-enabled Accounts Payable solutions, or payment modernization initiatives.
  • Experience managing offshore or third-party managed service teams.
  • Experience with ERP integrations, financial reporting platforms, data interfaces, and integration troubleshooting.
  • Healthcare industry experience.
  • Shared services experience.
  • Experience driving automation, process improvement, and measurable service delivery improvements.
  • Master's degree in a related field.

Culture & Perks
The LBS Technology Finance team operates in a highly collaborative, fast-paced environment where accountability, partnership, and ownership are essential. Leaders are expected to be proactive, approachable, and willing to roll up their sleeves alongside their teams to solve complex business and technology challenges.
The team works closely across Finance, Technology, and external partners, with a strong focus on continuous improvement, customer service, and delivering solutions that make a meaningful impact across the organization.
