Job Description:

GDIT is seeking a skilled Oracle Applications Systems Analyst Principal to support its Oracle EBS R12 current implementation. The analyst will provide critical support for the day-to-day operations, help to address and resolve issues and identify and implement incremental improvements to Oracle EBS and its interfaces with other systems. The Analyst will work with Finance and other business groups to design, implement and optimize the current Oracle Financials environment. The responsibilities of the position will be primarily focused on, but not limited to, Accounting, Accounts Payables, General Ledger, Fixed Assets, Purchasing, Cash Management, Supplier Maintenance.

HOW YOU WILL MAKE AN IMPACT

  • Collaborates with Financial Services and other business teams to gather and document requirements, identify needs, and deliver solutions that improve efficiency and enhance existing processes.

  • Partners with team members to design, refine, and implement solutions that align with business objectives and specifications.

  • Manages deployments through the ServiceNow platform, coordinating with developers and stakeholders while following established change management processes and documentation standards.

  • Works directly with Oracle Support to research and resolve issues, open and monitor service requests, document bugs, and obtain fixes and patches to resolve production problems in a timely manner.

  • Applies and proposes best practices when appropriate to ensure high quality and integrity of delivered solutions.

  • Helps identify and evaluate opportunities for new interfaces, integrations, or automation to improve operational efficiency and data quality.

  • Investigates and troubleshoots system performance and functional issues, recommends shortterm workarounds and stopgap measures, and contributes to longterm enhancements that prevent recurring problems.

  • Supports data conversion and migration activities as needed for changes within the existing Oracle EBS environment.

WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO SUCCEED

  • Education: Associate degree in Accounting, Finance, Computer Science, Information Systems or a business-related field required

  • Required Technical Skills & Experience: 7+ years of experience in Oracle EBS and/or other enterprise systems.

  • Required Technical Skills:
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written are a must.

  • Comprehensive understanding of EBS R12 data architecture in the GL, AP, PO, FA, HRMS, CM, PA schemas etc., and subledger accounting; out of the box and custom integrations; APIs and REST services availability and capabilities for R12.

  • Understanding of Oracle development tools and technologies SQL, PL/SQL, XML, Oracle Analytics, BI Publisher, SOA, Web Services.

  • Preferred, but not required Skills:

  • Working knowledge of data governance, compliance standards and best practices for maintaining data integrity and proper labeling of sensitive and personal information.

  • Ability to manage competing priorities within complex multi-stakeholder projects environment.

  • Prior experience creating and updating technical documentation such as MD50, MD30, and MD10.

  • Solid analytical and problemsolving skills, including the ability to interpret data.

The likely salary range for this position is $107,744 - $126,500. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
