We are seeking a talented individual to join our team at Marsh. This role will be based in New York. This is a hybrid role that has a requirement of working three days a week in the office.
We are seeking an Applications Developer - Oracle TRCS (Tax Reporting Cloud Service) to oversee the entire life cycle of a software application, creating the design, coding it, and testing the product for functionality and errors, while ensuring that user needs, performance requirements and security standards are met. Developer should also be able to support the application during monthly/quarterly close cycle.
We will count on you to:
  • Supports and assists senior developers in developing codes, tests and debugs of software programs and enhancements to meet project plan goals.
  • Lead Oracle TRCS enhancement activities across a senior-level portfolio
  • Support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close activities, ensuring timely, accurate system performance and reliable financial reporting output.
  • Drive process optimization, issue resolution, and system enhancements by translating business requirements into scalable Oracle EPM solutions that improve efficiency, controls, and reporting capabilities.
  • Provides technical support to internal clients on existing problems, escalates as appropriate.

What you need to have:
  • Associate degree in a related field of study.
  • 5+ years of experience with tax software, preferably TRCS, or experience with FCCS, including workflow, business rules, reporting, and Smart View.
  • Knowledge of EPM software development and a proactive approach to feature enhancements.
  • Experience working with tax reporting teams to implement and maintain tax reporting processes, including data collection, tax provision calculations, and compliant reporting.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, quick learning ability, and experience troubleshooting technical issues across cloud and on-prem environments.

Office-based teams will identify at least one "anchor day" per week on which their full team will be together in person.
The applicable base salary range for this role is $97,600 to $195,100.
The base pay offered will be determined on factors such as experience, skills, training, location, certifications, education, and any applicable minimum wage requirements. Decisions will be determined on a case-by-case basis. In addition to the base salary, this position may be eligible for performance-based incentives.
