Your Role on the Team
Position Summary:
The incumbent supervises the development, upgrade, enhancement, and support of enterprise business systems, with a primary focus on Oracle applications (e.g., Oracle E-Business Suite, Oracle Cloud ERP, HCM, and related modules) but also expanding to coordination with other key business systems (Strata, Premier, EDW and more). Independently manages large modules or functional areas of the enterprise business application environment. Optimizes our suite of applications based on technical and business needs. Facilitates strategic decisions and operational work efforts that impact financial, supply chain, HR, and administrative processes. Participates in the analysis, design, and integration of Oracle systems with other enterprise applications. Supervises an assigned group of Business Application Analysts.
What It Takes to be Successful
Required Qualifications:
  • Understanding of business process workflows and best practices in ERP environments
  • Strong supervisory skills and expertise leading developers, application and technical analysts
  • Proven expertise in implementing, configuring, and supporting Oracle modules across finance, supply chain, and related business functionsExperience integrating Oracle with other enterprise systems and third-party applications
  • Must possess the skill, knowledge and ability essential to the successful performance of assigned duties
  • Must demonstrate customer service skills appropriate to the job
  • Must be willing to participate in 24 hour on-call rotations as a system duty officer
  • Knowledge of system architecture and file structures for development, maintenance and enhancement tasks for system maintained
  • Experience within a healthcare professional or administrative department and/or knowledge of healthcare clinical practices and interface standards
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
  • Demonstrated experience working as a project manager / lead
  • Advanced knowledge and hands-on experience with Oracle enterprise applications (e.g., Oracle E-Business Suite, Oracle Cloud ERP, HCM)
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends
  • Ability to self initiate and effectively problem solve issues
  • Ability to maintain a work pace appropriate to the workload
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships across the Health System
  • Ability to apply logical troubleshooting and analysis techniques for the purpose of problem resolution

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Project Coordination / management experience
  • Oracle Cloud ERP or E-Business Suite certification(s)
  • Knowledge of University and Medical Center organizations, policies, procedures and forms
  • Knowledge of ITIL best practices
  • Knowledge of Accounting, Finance, Supply Chain processes
  • Experience with Premier, Strata, Power BI, and Epic integrations
  • Experience in higher education or healthcare environments
  • Demonstrated supervisory experience in an IT department
