Job description


The Sr. Oracle Applications Techno-Functional Analyst will work in a diverse and dynamic environment with a team of developers, DBA's, business analysts and end users. He/she is responsible for continuous enhancement and support of Oracle EBS and cloud application for various business divisions. The role requires understanding business requirements and developing solutions by leveraging standard, custom and extended functionality. He/she should possess strong technical and functional skills and business domain knowledge to ensure Oracle EBS and cloud solutions are configured, personalized and customized to meet business requirements.
Roles and Responsibilities:
  • Provide expert technical and functional direction on specific business requirements to develop high quality and efficient solutions for the organization in Oracle EBS, Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI), PaaS and SaaS Cloud Applications.
  • Develop, design and build customizations using traditional technologies such as PL/SQL, Forms, RDF, BI Publisher, Workflows, Oracle Application Framework (OAF).
  • Develop and build customizations using newer technologies such as ADF, SOA, Rest APIs, APEX, ODI, OIC and Oracle Gateway.
  • Design and build standard and extended configurations in multiple Oralce EBS and Cloud Applications modules such as Finance, Logistics, Inventory, Procurement, SCM, iProcurement and iSupplier.
  • Familiarity with multi-tier, SOA and OCI cloud system architecture and related networking and infrastructure terminology.
  • Expert knowledge in multiple solution set groups across modules such as procure to pay (P2P), order to cash O2C) and record to report (R2R).
  • Lead and participate in functional and technical design reviews and implement enhancements for Oracle E-Business Suite application aligning with business needs.
  • Perform technical and functional analysis for the business requirements and perform analysis to provide detailed technical and functional design of the desired application changes
  • Investigate system options, profile options, flex-fields, setups to provide functional expertise on upgrading to new application releases and new functionality
  • Review and analyze existing application customizations and extensions and help build new solutions. Develop strategies for leveraging new technology to meet and support new business objectives.
  • Responsible for functional and technical design, configuration change, setup, test and implementation for on-going Oracle applications production support
  • Actively perform root cause analysis to implement the right solutions
  • Write and review UAT and QA test cases and scripts
  • Conduct UAT with end users including coordination of user signoff
  • Provide production support for ongoing maintenance and enhancement of custom programs that interface with third party vendors and other internal systems
  • Coordinate work efforts with DBAs and other cross functionals teams such as Infrastructure and Information Security for application changes and system performance issues
  • Pursue innovative ways to improve the process of delivering solutions to Oracle application users
  • Proactively work through service requests with Oracle Support as needed
  • Provide applications documentation and training materials as needed

The anticipated salary range for this position is $117,300- $176,000 depending on location, knowledge, skills, education and experience. This position is also eligible for an annual discretionary bonus. In addition, we offer comprehensive and competitive benefits to Associates (and their families) such as medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term and long-term disability. Eligible Associates are able to enroll in our company's 401k plan. Associates will accrue paid time off up to 236 hours per year (inclusive of PTO, floating holidays, and paid holidays). Paid sick time up to 80 hours per year unless otherwise required by law.
Requirements
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
  • A techno-functional professional with at least two full lifecycle Oracle EBS / Cloud implementation and 10 or more years of industry and/or consulting experience.
  • 10 or more years of overall IT experience
  • Extensive experience with Oracle E-Business Suite Release 11, 12 and SaaS cloud applications
  • Experience with cloud technologies such as IaaS and PaaS (Apex, ODI, Data Warehouse, IDCS)
  • Minimum of 7 years of proven technical expertise with development of solutions for Oracle EBS and Cloud modules (Finance, Logistics, Inventory, Procurement, SCM, iProcurement and iSupplier).
  • Expert knowledge of working with Oracle database and development tools like PL/SQL, SQL*Plus, Oracle Forms, Reports, BI Publisher, Workflow, APEX, OAF and ADF applications.
  • Application performance enhancement and tuning capabilities such as tuning SQL queries, enabling and reading TKPROF and implementing indexes.
  • Working knowledge of middleware technologies such as SOA, Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC), Rest APIs and ODI.
  • Working knowledge on cloud technologies such as OCI, IDCS, OIC, Apex on cloud and others.
  • Experience with Oracle EBS modules including Inventory, Finance, Costing, Order management, Supply chain and Human resources.
  • Well versed in structured design and development methodologies to perform full life-cycle Oracle EBS implementation including fit/gap analysis, design specifications, implementation, and maintenance.
  • Individual must be self-motivated and foster a cooperative work environment.
  • Ideal candidate should be able to work either as part of a team or individually.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to troubleshoot and resolve production issues in a timely manner.
  • Demonstrate creativity and flexibility to manage complex tasks and develop innovative solutions.

Required Education
  • B.S. in Information Technology or related field is required. Master degree is preferred. An equivalent combination of experience and education may be substituted
