Job description

Join a dynamic Oracle Cloud HCM team supporting core HR, benefits, and absence management in a hands-on functional analyst role with the opportunity to contribute to ongoing stabilization, optimization, and quarterly release readiness. This position also offers the chance to serve as a trusted advisor on payroll and time-related impacts across the broader HCM landscape while working in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities
  • Provide direct functional support for Oracle Cloud HCM Core HR, Benefits, and Absence Management processes.
  • Configure and maintain benefits programs, including eligibility, life events, enrollment activity, rates, and issue resolution.
  • Support open enrollment planning, testing, audits, and post-enrollment stabilization activities.
  • Set up and support absence plans, accrual rules, eligibility, and absence-related formulas.
  • Troubleshoot employee and manager issues tied to HR data, benefits, absence balances, and downstream processing.
  • Partner with payroll and time stakeholders to assess configuration impacts, investigate issues, and recommend solutions.
  • Analyze payroll and time-related discrepancies from a functional perspective and support testing and validation efforts.
  • Assess current configurations and identify opportunities to improve consistency, usability, and operational efficiency.
  • Develop and maintain functional documentation, test scripts, support guides, and issue logs.
  • Perform regression testing and impact analysis for quarterly Oracle updates, enhancements, and production fixes.
  • Support root cause analysis, corrective actions, and preventive controls for recurring issues.
  • Collaborate closely with HR Systems, HR Operations, Benefits, Payroll Operations, IT, and other stakeholders.
Skills
  • 5+ years of hands-on experience with Oracle Cloud HCM functional support.
  • Strong working knowledge of Core HR, Benefits Administration, and Absence Management.
  • Experience with Oracle Fast Formulas and User Defined Tables.
  • Ability to support benefits administration activities, including eligibility, enrollment, deductions, and life events.
  • Experience with absence configuration, accrual validation, and employee or manager issue resolution.
  • Understanding of Oracle HCM data structures, worker lifecycle events, and assignment data.
  • Ability to analyze functional issues, determine root cause, and recommend practical solutions.
  • Strong documentation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Comfort working independently while staying highly collaborative across teams.
  • Detail-oriented approach with a focus on quality and sustainable configuration practices.
Preferred Skills
  • Experience supporting Oracle Payroll and Time & Labor in an advisory capacity.
  • Background in quarterly Oracle release testing and post-go-live stabilization.
  • Experience with benefits integrations, reconciliation, reporting outputs, or audit support.
  • Exposure to Oracle Journeys or Oracle HR Help Desk.
  • Experience in a global or multi-country enterprise environment.
  • Familiarity with engineering, manufacturing, or energy-related organizations.
  • Ability to identify process improvements and help streamline operational support.
