Overview:
The Oracle Fusion Reporting & Analytics Developer will provide comprehensive reporting, analytics, and data intelligence solutions for our Oracle Fusion Cloud environment. This role will design, develop, and maintain enterprise reports using OTBI, Oracle Analytics Cloud (OAC), Oracle Analytics Server (OAS), and Fusion Data Intelligence (FDI). The ideal candidate will work closely with business stakeholders and data analysts to deliver actionable insights while modernizing legacy reporting processes.
Key Responsibilities:
Reporting & Analytics Development
  • Design, develop, and maintain Oracle Transactional Business Intelligence (OTBI) reports and dashboards using Oracle Fusion Cloud applications
  • Create advanced analytics and data visualizations in Oracle Analytics Cloud (OAC)
  • Develop and maintain reports in Oracle Analytics Server (OAS) for on-premises requirements
  • Build pixel-perfect reports using BI Publisher for regulatory compliance and operational needs
  • Create and optimize dashboards leveraging Fusion Data Intelligence (FDI) capabilities
Data Architecture & Integration
  • Work with Oracle Autonomous Data Warehouse (ADW) to design and implement robust data models
  • Understand and leverage Fusion Data Intelligence subject areas and data pipelines
  • Design and optimize data warehouse schemas to support enterprise reporting requirements
  • Integrate data from multiple sources including Oracle Fusion ERP, HCM, SCM modules
  • Perform data modeling and create logical business models aligned with business requirements
Legacy Modernization
  • Analyze and modernize custom PL/SQL processes and reports from Oracle E- Business Suite (EBS)
  • Migrate legacy OBIEE reports and dashboards to OAC/OTBI frameworks
  • Refactor inefficient database procedures and optimize for cloud-based architecture
  • Document migration paths and transformation logic for legacy report conversions
Performance & Optimization
  • Optimize query performance across OTBI, OAC, and ADW environments
  • Implement best practices for report caching, aggregation, and indexing strategies
  • Monitor and tune SQL queries and PL/SQL procedures for optimal performance
  • Conduct performance testing and implement improvements based on usage patterns
Collaboration & Support
  • Partner with business analysts to translate requirements into technical reporting solutions
  • Provide training and support to business users on OTBI, OAC, and OAS tools
  • Collaborate with IT teams to integrate analytics solutions with enterprise applications
  • Work with data governance teams to ensure data quality and compliance standards
Documentation & Compliance
  • Document technical designs, data flows, and reporting specifications
  • Maintain comprehensive documentation for audit and compliance purposes
  • Create user guides and training materials for report consumers
  • Follow change management processes and maintain version control
Project Management
  • Participate in agile/scrum ceremonies including sprint planning, daily standups, and retrospectives
  • Provide regular progress updates and status reporting to stakeholders
  • Utilize SCA project management and requirements tracking tools
  • Manage multiple priorities and adapt to changing business needs

Oracle Fusion & Cloud Analytics (Required)
  • Oracle Transactional Business Intelligence (OTBI): 3+ years developing subject area analyses, dashboards, and reports
  • Oracle Analytics Cloud (OAC): 2+ years creating data visualizations, data flows, and advanced analytics
  • Oracle Analytics Server (OAS): 2+ years developing dashboards and reports
  • BI Publisher: 4+ years building complex templates, layouts, and data models
  • Fusion Data Intelligence (FDI): 2+ years working with FDI subject areas, pipelines, and data warehouse
Database & Data Warehouse
  • Oracle Autonomous Data Warehouse: 2+ years experience with ADW architecture, SQL optimization, and data modeling
  • Oracle Database 19c/21c: 5+ years with advanced SQL, PL/SQL stored procedures, functions, and packages
  • Data Modeling: Strong understanding of dimensional modeling, star schemas, and data warehouse concepts
