Position Summary

This position is responsible for the maintenance of the warehouse inventory management and deliveries of all OPUS-IVS electronic products in a manner that meets internal and customer quality expectations.


Responsibilities:

  • Unload delivery trucks
  • Complete incoming inspection of shipments
  • Verify the accuracy, quantity, and condition of incoming deliveries
  • Complete receiving paperwork according to requirements
  • Labeling boxes and placing them in their correct warehouse location
  • Maintain a well-organized and safe warehouse
  • Maintain accuracy of material inventory
  • Conduct routine material inventory cycle counts; communicate regularly with Purchasing
  • Assist with resolution of inventory issues
  • Accurately fulfill daily material requests from Team Leaders and others. Pick and pack material in an organized manner
  • Handle incoming product RMA returns
  • Maintain material handling equipment (e.g., forklift, ladders, etc.) as necessary
  • Promptly communicate the receipt of received materials to internal addressees
  • Wear required personal protective equipment (PPE)

Requirements

Qualifications:

  • High School or GED
  • Must be able to routinely lift 50 lb. boxes; ability to maneuver 500 - 700 lbs. with material handling equipment
  • Must be able to stand / walk / maneuver materials 8 hours per day
  • Must pass OSHA forklift training and in-house practical forklift maneuvering training
  • Must be able to use a pallet jack and other material handling equipment
  • Must be able to read and interpret shipping and receiving documents
  • Data entry, math, and computer skills, especially Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook)
  • Attention to detail and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision
  • Excellent attendance
  • Good attitude - pleasant demeanor when interacting with others, even in stressful situations
  • Previous warehouse / material handling experience a plus
