Job description

We are currently seeking a Senior Health Promotion Specialist for a high-profile corporate client located in Lake Buena Vista, FL.

This is a full-time, on-site role.

What you will do:

The Senior Health Promotion Specialist will support the integration of workplace health programming through close collaboration with strategic partners across the client's property. Dedicated to a single client, this role will support both new and ongoing initiatives that advance employee health and safety outcomes. Strong collaboration, communication, and influencing skills are essential components of success in this role.

  • Coordinate and monitor daily delivery of health and safety programming, ensuring alignment with approved guidelines and operational best practices.
  • Partner with multiple internal and external business units to support effective health and safety program coordination and integration.
  • Support the implementation of program components by coordinating day to day activities, monitoring program delivery, and providing real time feedback to support integration into daily operations.
  • Monitor program scheduling plans and recommend adjustments as appropriate; facilitate critical thinking and problem solving using technical expertise and approved resolution pathways.
  • Develop and deliver status reports using established metrics to track progress, performance, and outcomes.
  • Provide technical input and problem solving recommendations; monitor program deliverables and progress through continuous real time communication with the client's Program Manager and Chief Physician.

What we are looking for:

  • A bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., health promotion, health education, public health).
  • Three or more years of experience in health promotion and managing health and safety programs or projects, including planning, execution, and evaluation of initiatives.
  • Proficiency in data collection, analysis and interpretation combined with strong critical thinking skills to inform strategic program decisions and effectiveness.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage partners across all organizational levels.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead through influence, clearly communicate complex information, and align stakeholders toward shared objectives.
  • Self directed and proactive, with the ability to translate conceptual direction into action with minimal oversight.
  • Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Strong presentation skills to effectively communicate program initiatives and outcomes.
  • Ability to travel throughout the client's property to provide coverage and support program operations as required; mileage will be reimbursed in accordance with company policy.

Additional knowledge and experience that you can bring to this role, but which is not required:

  • Master's degree in business administration, operations management, health promotion management, public health, or a related field.
  • Advanced experience implementing occupational health or safety programs with measurable outcomes.
  • Familiarity with workforce health and safety frameworks (e.g., NIOSH Total Worker Health) and related workplace compliance standards (e.g., OSHA, ADA, EEOC).
  • Experience supporting functional movement screening and early intervention programs in a workplace or occupational setting.
  • Advanced capability in applying behavioral change strategies, health coaching principles, and employee health promotion to improve workforce performance and resilience.
  • Experience supporting cross-functional programs or projects, including planning, coordination, and evaluation of multi-faceted efforts.
