Office Manager

Location: Schaumburg, IL 60193

About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and experienced Office Manager to join our Ophthalmology and Optometry practice located in Schaumburg, Illinois. The ideal candidate will oversee daily office operations, ensuring a smooth and efficient workflow while maintaining a welcoming environment for patients and staff.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage daily administrative operations of the ophthalmology and optometry office.
  • Supervise and support front office staff, including scheduling, patient check-in/out, and billing.
  • Coordinate with medical staff to optimize patient flow and appointment scheduling.
  • Maintain office supplies and equipment, ensuring everything is in working order.
  • Handle patient inquiries and resolve any issues or complaints professionally.
  • Oversee billing, insurance claims, and accounts receivable processes.
  • Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and office policies.
  • Assist with hiring, training, and performance evaluations of office personnel.
  • Prepare reports and maintain accurate records related to office operations.
Qualifications
  • Proven experience as an Office Manager, preferably in an ophthalmology or optometry setting.
