Job description

Adaptive Physical Education Teacher (APE)– School-Based Services 

Location: Lancaster, OH

Schedule: School-Based | Daytime Hours 

Pay: 43-48 per hour

At Care Options for Kids, our Adapted Physical Education (APE) teacher is an educationally trained professional who can assess individual students and develop, adapt, and implement specialized physical education programs in the motor domain. This role is designed for educators who are skilled, adaptable, and committed to meeting students where they are.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Physical Education, Special Education, or related field from an accredited university or college.

  • Ability to adapt curriculum for diverse learning needs 

  • Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills 

  • Ability to maintain confidentiality of student information 

  • Reliable transportation, valid driver’s license, and current auto liability insurance
