Now Hiring: Full-Time WIC Nutritionist (35 hours/week) - Stamford, CT

Step into a role where your expertise directly impacts families every single day. As a WIC Nutritionist, you'll empower participants with the knowledge and support they need to make healthy choices for themselves and their children.

What You'll Be Doing
  • Conduct comprehensive nutrition assessments and identify participant needs
  • Provide personalized nutrition education, counseling, and breastfeeding support
  • Help families set and achieve realistic health and nutrition goals
  • Tailor WIC food packages based on individual needs and guidelines
  • Ensure accurate certification and compliance with program standards
  • Collaborate with healthcare and social service providers through referrals
  • Maintain accurate documentation using the CT-WIC system
  • Promote breastfeeding as the preferred infant feeding method
  • Participate in ongoing training and professional development opportunities
What You Bring

Education & Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Nutrition or a related field (advanced degree or dietetic internship may substitute for experience)
  • At least 2 years of relevant experience in a healthcare or community setting (preferred)
  • Strong computer and data entry skills
