About the Job
We currently have an exciting opportunity for an Answer Engine Optimization (AEO) Manager to join our Search Engine Optimization (SEO) team. This individual will enhance Tailored Brands visibility across AI search and assistant experiences, while also supporting core SEO priorities across our sites. This role is hands-on and highly collaborative. You will partner with Content, Product, Engineering, Merchandising, Brand, Analytics, and our agency to ship practical improvements on real pages, run experiments, and turn what we learn into a repeatable playbook as this space evolves.
What You'll Do | Key Accountabilities
AEO execution and delivery
• Own day-to-day execution of AEO work across priority journeys like fit, occasion, style guidance, and product education
• Turn customer questions into concrete on-site improvements such as new FAQ blocks, comparison sections, clearer headings, and tighter definitions
• Maintain a clear AEO backlog, prioritize work, coordinate owners, and keep projects moving from idea to launch
SEO support and optimization (core team responsibility)
• Support ongoing SEO initiatives including content optimization, internal linking improvements, on-page best practices, and seasonal landing page support
• Partner with the SEO lead to execute keyword-informed optimizations that improve discoverability and performance in traditional search
• Help monitor SEO health in Google Search Console and analytics tools, flagging issues and opportunities and helping drive fixes
Cross-functional collaboration
• Partner with Content and Brand to create and refresh content that is clear, structured, and aligned to how customers actually ask questions
• Partner with Product and Engineering to implement scalable template and component changes across PDPs, PLPs, and guidance pages
• Partner with Merchandising to ensure content reflects the right assortment priorities, seasonal narratives, and product truths
• Partner with Analytics to measure impact, refine priorities, and share what is working
Agency partnership and execution support
• Serve as the day-to-day point of contact for the agency supporting AEO and SEO efforts Translate agency recommendations into executable plans, including scopes, requirements, owners, and timelines
• Coordinate across internal teams to unblock work, ensure quality, and get recommendations implemented
• Provide feedback loops to the agency based on results and internal context so recommendations improve over time
Experimentation and learning
• Run a steady cadence of experiments with clear hypotheses and success metrics
• Document what we tried, what shipped, and what we learned so we build an AEO playbook over time
• Stay current on how AI discovery is changing and translate new shifts into testable actions
Measurement and reporting
• Track performance for shipped work using engagement, organic entrances, assisted conversions, and available AI visibility or citation signals
• Provide simple, consistent updates to stakeholders on what launched, what changed, and what is next
Tools and technical experience
• Hands-on experience with SEO tools such as Ahrefs, seoClarity or BrightEdge, Screaming Frog, and Google Search Console
• Experience building and reviewing dashboards in Looker Studio
• Sufficient technical knowledge to debug and troubleshoot common SEO issues, including crawling, indexing, rendering, and page performance
• Understanding of modern ecommerce tech stacks and how SEO requirements interact with product, CMS, and platform teams
• Familiarity working with Akamai or similar CDN and edge delivery platforms
• For AI discovery, familiarity with AI visibility and tracking tools such as Profound or similar platforms
What You'll Bring | Skills & Experience
• 5+ years in SEO, content, or digital growth roles with a strong bias toward execution
• Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent work experience
• Proven ability to drive cross-functional work from requirements to launch to measurement
• Strong writing and editing skills and a clear audience-first mindset
• Comfortable using data to prioritize and evaluate outcomes using GA4, Google Search Console, dashboards, and spreadsheets
• Strong communication skills and the ability to align stakeholders and keep work moving
Preferred
• Experience working on ecommerce templates like PDPs and PLPs and partnering closely with product and engineering teams
• Familiarity with structured content patterns such as FAQs, comparisons, and guides
• Curiosity about AI-driven discovery and a desire to learn quickly as the field changes

• Hours regularly 40 hours per week, as work dictates, in a hybrid work arrangement from our Dublin, California office location.

The starting salary for this position is $100,900 - $134,000. Actual compensation within this range will be determined based on factors such as skills, experience, and qualifications. Over time, and subject to performance, tenure, and evolving responsibilities, total compensation for this role may grow to as much as $165,000. Base pay information is based on market location and may be subject to prevailing wage laws, if applicable.
