Job description

Are you looking for a unique career opportunity that offers great growth potential? Are you a low voltage technician with DAS/ERRCS/ERCES experience? We are seeking skilled Installers, Technicians, and Foreman that have experience in the Public Safety DAS (Distributed Antenna System) industry, installing ERRCS/ERCES infrastructure and equipment. Experience commissioning and wiring the ERRCS equipment is a plus as well as proficiency in using any of the following: Spectrum Analyzer, CW, and PCTEL equipment. Experience installing electrical conduits and or Low Voltage infrastructure is also a plus.


  • Installation of Public Safety DAS in Public Storage Facilities, Hotels, Multi-Family Residential projects, medium and large commercial buildings.
  • Foreman will Layout and provide direction to HCI installers on site as well as coordinate and communicate with the Project Manager to efficiently complete the project on time and on budget.
  • Technician shall be responsible for installation of DAS infrastructure, equipment, and RF Sweep testing. Experience installing independent support systems in a variety of applications is a plus.
  • Responsible for the execution of the installation project plan provided including equipment delivery, staging, ordering misc. materials, as well as interface and coordination with other trades to successfully complete projects in a timely manner, while exceeding customer's expectations.
  • Resolve field problems through research of multiple alternatives.
  • Foreman and Technicians to report to the DAS PM to discuss specific jurisdiction requirements, and the intended wiring and installation methods being used.
  • Communicate and effectively interact with other contractors and building owners.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, submittals, specifications, software/systems programs, schematics, and operational product manuals.
  • Identify out of scope requests by the contractor or customer and notify DAS PM of pending changes for authorization and approval.
  • Identify and assist with suggested solutions for an efficient installation to complete scope.
  • Tech and foreman need to be able to identify any mistakes on plans.
  • Effectively communicate project status to DAS Project Manager.
  • Complete all appropriate company paperwork as required.
  • Industry related NICET, Manufacturer Certification, and FCC License a plus.

  • Proficient in installation of coax cables and connector terminations.
  • Proficient in installation of fiber. Fusion splicing and operating Fiber Optic equipment a plus.
  • Valid driver's California license with a clean driving record.
  • Applicants must meet requirements in relation to background and driving record.
  • Must be proficient in the use and application of industry related equipment including MS Office.
  • Must have excellent communications skills, using tact and diplomacy when dealing with customers.
  • Must be skilled with all required automatic and hand tools for all infrastructure applications.
  • Regular, reliable, predictable attendance.
  • Company vehicles are available for senior technicians at the discretion of the Project Manager responsible for the department.
  • Able to work in unusual and sometimes difficult positions such as climbing a ladder, scaffolding and high lift equipment up to 60 feet, crawl spaces, above ceilings, etc.
  • Capable of performing physical labor to include carrying and moving equipment and tools as required and lifting to 75lbs.
