LICENSED PRACTICAL NURSE (LPN / LVN) - OUTPATIENT CLINIC | DETAILS AND COMPENSATION:

  • Location: Fishers IN 46037 - 100% on-site
  • Payrate: $37.17/hr
  • Required Availability: Part-time| approximately 32-40 hours/week
  • Schedule & Training
    • Work schedules are created in 6-week blocks following an initial 3-week training/orientation period
    • Typical shifts are 7-10 hours during clinic operating hours
    • Schedule generally includes 2-3 weekdays and every other weekend
    • Some major holiday coverage is required
    • Must be available to complete the initial 3 weeks of training without planned time off
    • May require floating to other nearby clinic locations

LICENSED PRACTICAL NURSE (LPN / LVN) - OUTPATIENT CLINIC | SUMMARY AND HIGHLIGHTS:

The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN / LVN) - Outpatient Clinic will provide high-quality, patient-facing clinical care in an outpatient clinic setting. This role involves patient assessments, medication administration, clinical testing, documentation, and collaboration with the healthcare team to support positive patient outcomes.

  • This position is a contract assignment with potential to hire on permanently based upon attendance, performance, and business needs
  • Benefits are available to full-time employees after 90 days of employment and include health, optical, dental, life, and short-term disability insurance
  • A 401(k) with a company match is available for full-time employees with 1 year of service on our eligibility dates

LICENSED PRACTICAL NURSE (LPN / LVN) - OUTPATIENT CLINIC | RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Administer oral, injectable, intravenous, and topical medications
  • Perform routine patient assessments and monitor vital signs
  • Identify and document abnormalities in blood pressure, heart rate, respiratory rate, and temperature
  • Monitor patient responses to treatment and document clinical findings
  • Perform or assist with phlebotomy, vaccine administration, and point-of-care testing
  • Document patient medical history, medications, allergies, surgeries, and other relevant information in the EMR
  • Conduct medication reviews and identify potential side effects or drug interactions
  • Perform mental health screenings, including assessments for depression, mood, behavior, and cognitive function
  • Provide patient education related to self-care and disease management
  • Help connect patients with appropriate healthcare and community resources
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked clinic environment

LICENSED PRACTICAL NURSE (LPN / LVN) - OUTPATIENT CLINIC | REQUIREMENTS:

  • Education: High School Diploma or GED (verifiable)
  • Attendance: Commitment to mandatory attendance during the first 90 days.
  • Active, unrestricted LPN or LVN license in good standing
  • Current BLS certification
  • 1+ year of related healthcare experience required
  • Previous experience in Primary Care, Urgent Care, or Emergency Room settings
  • Experience with phlebotomy, vaccine administration, and point-of-care testing
  • Proficiency with electronic medical record (EMR) systems

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with Epic EMR
  • Strong comfort working in a fast-paced, patient-facing outpatient clinic
  • Experience with clinical care in an ambulatory setting
