Job description

Job Description: Our client is seeking a board-certified or residency-trained Veterinary Ophthalmologist to join a well-established specialty referral team in a thriving Central Texas setting. This is an opportunity to contribute to a collaborative, multi-disciplinary environment where complex cases are managed with advanced diagnostics, modern surgical capabilities, and a strong culture of clinical excellence.
The position offers the chance to work alongside experienced specialists and emergency clinicians who value open communication and shared decision-making. The successful candidate will play a key role in further developing ophthalmology services, supporting referring veterinarians, and delivering exceptional care to patients requiring advanced medical and surgical eye treatments.
Qualifications Needed:
  • Board-Certified or Residency-Trained Veterinary Ophthalmologist (DACVO or equivalent)
  • Eligibility for veterinary licensure in Texas
  • Demonstrated excellence in advanced ophthalmic diagnostics and surgical procedures
  • Strong interpersonal skills with a collaborative, team-oriented mindset
