Job description

Job Description
Position Summary:
OPEX Corporation is looking to hire a full time Material Handler who can work in Plano, TX. The worker must be able to commit to a full-time schedule while working during our first shift from 7:00am through 3:30pm, however hours may vary on occasion. The employee will be assisting in all aspects of warehouse operation. If you are a punctual, communicative, diligent, and detail-oriented individual that works well with a team then OPEX may be the right place for you to pursue your career.
Responsibilities:
  • Fulfilling production orders from warehouse main location
  • Pick and delivery parts request
  • Identify and label materials, record proper warehouse locations to maintain accurate inventory levels
  • Replenishment of primary stock locations
  • Perform and report inventory cycle counts
  • Daily mail run between buildings
  • Conduct light housekeeping and maintenance, when needed
  • Other responsibilities as assigned

Qualifications:
  • Warehouse Management System Experience is helpful (Oracle knowledge is a plus)
  • Material handling equipment operation experience is strongly preferred
  • Work in a team environment and have good communication skills
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Basic computer skills (email and typing)

Physical/Work Environments:
  • Worker will be working in a fast-paced environment
  • Worker must be able to lift up to 50 pounds
  • Worker must be able to stand or walk for extended periods of time
  • Squatting, bending, kneeling, reaching overhead, reaching forward will occur while on the job
