Job description

OpEx Solutions, Inc. is accepting resumes for a Care Coordinator to work on a government contract for the Tennessee Army National Guard.

Job description:

  • Aid in improving care, management in behavioral health management and credential management.
  • Review Soldier medical information in order to ascertain the medical status of injuries, illnesses, or diseases.
  • Monitor and input info in Medical Operational Data System (MODS)
  • Review and make entries in the Automated Voucher System (AVS)
  •   Submit documentation into Health Readiness Record (HRR) module for Soldier medical, dental, and medical personnel action documentation
  • Submit entries into the Medical Action Tracking System (MATS)
  • Track medical status & input of medical charts in MEDCHART
  • Track Soldier treatment plans with appropriate medical facilities
  • Attend Medical Readiness Event (MRE) as needed
  • Ensure medical documentation from Soldier, unit, or medical provider is in appropriate electronic record, & Soldiers Treatment Record (STR).
  • Educate Soldiers on resources to improve medical and dental readiness
  • Maintain HIPAA Act of 1996 standards and guidelines.

Location: Smyrna, Tennessee

Shift/Schedule: Core business hours are 0700 to 1630 — Monday through Friday

Occasional weekends during scheduled Medical Readiness Events (MRE)

Required Minimum Education and Experience:

  • High School Diploma
  • Excellent written, oral, and telephone communication skills.
  • Proficient with MS Suite & Adobe products, including MS Word & Excel
  • Must have a strong attention to detail and be highly organized
  • Ability to operate basic office equipment, such as photocopiers and scanners, facsimile machines, voice mail systems and personal computers
  • Must have excellent communication, phone etiquette, customer service and people skills
  • Ability to multi-task, work in a team, and have a sharp attention to detail.

Preferred Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Prior patient care experience
  • Prior military experience

Other/Special

  • US Citizen and pass background check, to include FBI fingerprint check and National Agency Check with Written Inquires (NACI)

Salary: (Base + H&W): 45 – 50 K/year
