Account Executive
Position Summary
OPEX Corporation is currently looking for an Account Executive to join our team with a sales region of northern California, northern Nevada, Oregon and Washington. If you are talented, driven and an experienced Sales professional then OPEX may be the right place for you to pursue your career.
OPEX Corporation is a recognized global technology leader in high-speed mailroom automation, document imaging, and warehouse automation. Our company manufactures and designs innovative mail automation equipment integrated with software solutions for business mailing operations, postal agencies, and letter shops across the world.
Responsibilities:
The Account Executive serves as a Sales Executive for new and existing accounts. The Account Executive facilitates all aspects of the sales process including but not limited to:
  • Understands the company's vision, mission, and strategy; understands business unit objectives and sets/accomplishes individual performance goals accordingly
  • Identifies new sales opportunities with new and existing customers
  • Qualifies sales opportunities through market / customer research and understanding the client's needs
  • Communicates value proposition to customers, proposes sales solutions to customers and reevaluates solutions where necessary
  • Managing the sales process from purchase order to installation
  • Closes sales opportunities by securing purchase orders or signed proposals
  • Provides outstanding customer service and post sales satisfaction facilitating long term relationships for repeat business with customers

Qualifications:
  • 3 plus years of successful Outside B2B Sales experience
  • Bachelor's Degree preferred
  • Prospecting, hunter mentality, and aggressive self-motivated individual
  • Industry experience: Document Imaging and/or Document Management space desirable
  • Sales or Operations experience is required
  • Tech savvy and proficiency using Microsoft Office Suite Software (with an emphasis on Excel) strongly preferred
  • Consultative selling skills - ability to assess client needs and create solution
  • Average of 2-3 overnights within territory per month, remainder is work from home
  • Strong planning, organization, communication, problem solving and decision-making skills
  • Valid Driver's License with a good driving record (within the last 5 years)
