Position:
Mono Twist General Operator
Summary of Position:
Ensures production plans are achieved in order to meet customer requirements. Performs the basic finishing functions needed for the operatorโ€™s respective shift along with any optional operations as required. Ensures a culture of safety throughout the site by adhering to all safety policies and procedures

  • Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Unload buggies into the Reiter several times a day
  • String the Reiter by keeping all ends together
  • Tie and doff from each of the Reiter and place onto a belt
  • Unload the belt and inspect every tube and put an inspected by sticker in every tube
  • Give all yarn packaged a final quality review. Every tube must meet TenCate standards and have a product label and inspected label
  • All belt tubes have to be stacked neatly on skid
  • Keep work area clean
  • Partials will need to be spliced there are no knots tied in mono
Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent
  • 6 months or more continuous experience in a manufacturing environment required
  • Mechanical aptitude
  • Excellent attendance and punctuality
  • Interactive skills to effectively work as part of a team
  • Communicate effectively through verbal and written communication
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision
Supervisory Responsibilities:
  • None
Work Environment:
  • Operates in non-temperature-controlled manufacturing facility.
  • This is an onsite job and is NOT remote. Regular and predictive attendance is mandatory.
Physical Demands:
  • May be required to stand for long periods of time
  • May involve some repetitive motions
  • Must be able to lift up to 35 pounds
  • May also engage in frequent bending, stooping, squatting, pushing, and pulling of parts and part containers
