FortisAlberta is seeking a detailoriented and customerfocused Customer Operations Assistant to support key operational functions within our Customer Operations team! 

In this role, you will contribute to the accuracy and efficiency of billing, metering, and settlement processes by working with data, systems, and internal stakeholders. You will help ensure highquality information, respond to inquiries, and support workflows that directly impact customer experience and operational performance. 

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys problem solving, working with data, and contributing to a collaborative team environment!

Job Description
   Support daily operational processes related to Meter Data Management, Billing, and Load Settlement.
   Perform accurate data entry and validation across internal systems, including processing billing adjustments.
   Run queries and generate reports to support analysis, workflows, and business decisionmaking.
   Respond to internal and external inquiries, resolving issues or escalating when required.
   Monitor and maintain data accuracy to support billing, settlement, and customer records.
   Assist with processing transactions and maintaining system records in accordance with procedures.
   Identify opportunities to improve process efficiency and data quality.
   Participate in special projects and provide general operational support as needed.

Qualifications
   High school diploma plus a minimum of three years of experience working with business data, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
   Strong data entry skills with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
   Basic understanding of billing, metering, or settlement processes in a utility or similar environment.
   Ability to follow procedures, evaluate data, and support issue resolution.
   Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a customerfocused approach.
   Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Word, and Excel.

Important Information
   Permanent, full-time role.
   Monday - Friday schedule.
   This role is currently based out of our Calgary location with intention to move to Airdrie sometime in the future.
