Operations Technician - $15.00/HOUR to $28.00/HOUR BOE We are seeking dependable and motivated Operations Technicians to support the installation, maintenance, and servicing of wastewater treatment and plumbing-related systems. This position is ideal for individuals who enjoy hands-on work, solving problems, and providing exceptional customer service. Training is available for entry-level candidates, while experienced plumbing professionals will have opportunities to perform more advanced technical work. Essential Duties & Responsibilities Install, inspect, troubleshoot, and maintain wastewater treatment and remediation equipment. Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on plumbing and treatment systems. Assist with system startups, testing, and operational checks. Diagnose equipment issues and recommend effective solutions. Read and interpret work orders, blueprints, diagrams, and technical manuals as needed. Operate hand tools, power tools, testing equipment, and other job-related equipment safely. Maintain accurate service records, inspection reports, and work documentation. Ensure compliance with safety regulations, environmental standards, and company policies. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment. Communicate professionally with customers and team members regarding service work and project updates. Participate in on-call or emergency service work as required. Qualifications Entry-Level Technicians ($15–18/hour) High school diploma or GED preferred. Mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn. Ability to use basic hand and power tools. Strong work ethic and dependable attendance. Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record preferred. Experienced Technicians ($18–22/hour) Previous plumbing or related mechanical experience. Ability to troubleshoot plumbing systems and equipment. Familiarity with piping systems, pumps, valves, and mechanical components. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Journeyman Technicians ($22–28/hour) Current Plumbing Journeyman License required. Advanced knowledge of plumbing systems, installation techniques, and applicable codes. Ability to lead projects, mentor junior technicians, and perform complex troubleshooting. Physical Requirements Ability to lift up to 75 pounds. Frequently bend, stoop, kneel, climb, and work in confined spaces. Ability to work indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions. Comfortable standing, walking, and performing physical labor throughout the workday.
