Job description

Eaton's Electrical Engineering Services & Systems Division (EESS) is currently seeking a Regional Project Operations Team Leader. This role can be based anywhere within 50 miles of the following areas and will require up to 25% travel. Deerfield Beach, FL 33442 Smyrna, GA 30082 Morrisville, NC 27560 Raleigh, NC 27609 Louisville, KY 40213 Nashville, TN 37211 The Regional Project Operations Team Leader (RPOTL) is responsible for driving business growth, operational excellence, and customer satisfaction across an assigned North American region.

This role leads regional project operations, supports strategic business development initiatives, and positions Eaton as the preferred provider of electrical solutions by promoting the full portfolio of products, services, turnkey projects, lifecycle solutions, and capital programs. You will be eligible for a company car. The expected annual salary range for this role is $113,000 - $165,000 a year.

This position is also eligible for a variable incentive program. Please note the salary information shown above is a general guideline only. Salaries are based upon candidate skills, experience, and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.

What you'll do: Drive regional growth by strengthening customer relationships, increasing revenue opportunities, and positioning Eaton for future business expansion. Promote and deliver Eaton's complete Project Operations solutions portfolio, establishing Eaton as the preferred electrical solutions provider. Support regional business strategy development and execution while contributing to the long-term growth of the Project Operations business.

Provide operational leadership for a regional project portfolio with project volumes up to $50M, ensuring profitability, customer satisfaction, and successful execution. Manage day-to-day regional operations, including resource allocation, staffing, sales and marketing activities, budgets, orders, revenue, and margin performance. Develop and manage project schedules, financial forecasts, budgets, and workforce plans to support business objectives.

Partner with regional leaders, project management teams, district operations centers, and other business units to optimize resources and project delivery. Support development and execution of regional profit plans and implement corrective actions to achieve financial targets. Coordinate with internal plants, regions, districts, and external suppliers to secure products and services required for project execution.

Build and maintain a high-performing project management organization through recruiting, coaching, performance management, and employee development. Lead project governance through regular operational and financial reviews, proactively identifying and escalating risks to leadership. Ensure a strong safety culture and compliance with all company safety policies and procedures.

Maintain individual productivity and utilization while providing leadership across the regional organization. Responsible for balancing performance with people development. Able to build trust with customers, inspire teams, and create a culture where accountability and collaboration go hand in hand.

Qualifications: Basic Qualifications: Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution Minimum of seven (7) years' experience in at least one of the following: Field Sales, Project Management/Engineering, or Product Management, or Construction experience. Must be able to work in the United States without corporate sponsorship now and within the future. This role is designated as a Regular Driver per Eaton's Driver Safety Policy and requires a current, unrestricted driver's license along with a satisfactory Motor Vehicle Record. Successfully complete and maintain compliance with Eaton's safety program and policy; This includes role-applicable portions of the EESS Qualified Electrical Worker (QEW) program and any required annual re-certifications thereafter Preferred Qualifications: 10 years' experience in at least one of the following: Field Sales, Project Management/Engineering, Product Management, or Construction Experience PMP Certification Experience with Engineering, General Construction Companies, and turn-key projects Current Federal Clearance or the ability to obtain one Experience writing proposals for multiple customer markets.
