Job Description:

The Operations Support Intern will play a crucial role in supporting the administrative functions of our non-profit counseling center. This internship offers hands-on experience in client management, grant billing, and financial record-keeping. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, organized, and eager to contribute to our mission of providing compassionate support to families and individuals in need.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Grant Billing Support:

Collaborate with the finance team to prepare and review grant billing reports.

Assist in tracking grant expenditures and ensuring that all billing is completed in accordance with grant requirements.

Maintain organized records of grant-related expenses and documentation.

2. Administrative and Operational Support:

Provide general administrative support, including filing, data entry, and office organization.

Contribute to special projects as needed, including outreach initiatives, event planning, and policy review.

3. Learning and Development:

Participate in regular meetings with the Director of Operations to review progress and receive feedback.

Engage in professional development opportunities provided by the center to enhance understanding of non-profit operations and management.

Qualifications:

Current enrollment in a Bachelor's degree program in Business Administration, Non-Profit Management, Social Work, or a related field.

Federal Work-Study eligible.

Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and accuracy.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality and professionalism.

Enthusiasm for working in a non-profit environment and commitment to supporting our mission.
