Position Summary:

Inadev is seeking an experienced Operations Support Specialist to support the Legacy environment. The candidate will provide operational support, incident management, user assistance, production monitoring, problem resolution, and coordination across technical and business stakeholders. The role requires familiarity with systems, operational processes, and help desk functions supporting mission-critical federal systems.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide Tier 1 and Tier 2 operational support for Legacy systems and related applications.
  • Monitor production environments, system alerts, batch jobs, interfaces, and operational dashboards.
  • Analyze incidents, troubleshoot application and infrastructure issues, and coordinate resolution with technical teams.
  • Support ISS/Help Desk activities, including ticket intake, triage, prioritization, escalation, and closure.
  • Track incidents, service requests, problem reports, and operational trends using ticketing systems.
  • Coordinate with stakeholders, developers, database administrators, infrastructure teams, and cybersecurity personnel during incident response activities.
  • Prepare operational reports, outage summaries, root cause documentation, and status briefings.
  • Assist with release support, deployment verification, and production readiness activities.
  • Support disaster recovery exercises, continuity of operations activities, and operational testing.
  • Maintain operational procedures, runbooks, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and knowledge-base articles.
  • Participate in on-call support and after-hours operational activities when required.

Requirements


Non-Technical Requirements:


- Must be a U.S. Citizen.

- Must be willing to work a HYBRID Schedule (3-4 Days) in Reston, VA & client locations in the Washington D.C. area as required.

- Ability to pass a 7-year background check and obtain/maintain a U.S. Government Clearance

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Business, or related field.
  • 3+ years of IT operations, production support, service desk, or help desk experience.
  • Experience supporting federal agencies or federal contractors.
  • Knowledge of incident management, problem management, and service desk operations.
  • Experience using ticketing systems such as Jira Service Management, ServiceNow, Remedy, or equivalent.
  • Strong troubleshooting and customer support skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience supporting environments or financial regulatory systems.
  • Familiarity with ITIL processes and best practices.
  • Experience with application monitoring and production operations tools.
  • Understanding of database concepts and SQL queries.
  • Knowledge of cybersecurity and continuous monitoring practices.
  • ITIL Foundation certification.
