Description:

We are seeking a skilled DevOps Engineer to drive the transformation of our software delivery pipelines through modernization and unification of DevOps practices. This role focuses on migrating legacy CI/CD processes from Jenkins and Azure DevOps (ADO) to GitHub Actions, while architecting a robust, scalable, and secure unified DevOps strategy. You will collaborate closely with development, QA, cloud, and security teams to streamline releases, improve infrastructure automation, and enhance observability across the SDLC.

Key Responsibilities:DevOps Modernization & Migration

Lead the end-to-end migration from legacy Jenkins and ADO pipelines to GitHub Actions.

Analyze and refactor existing Jenkins jobs and YAML-based ADO pipelines to fit modern GitHub workflows.

Build reusable GitHub Actions and composite workflows to standardize builds, tests, and deployments across multiple repositories.

CI/CD Pipeline Engineering

Design and implement robust CI/CD pipelines for microservices, APIs, and frontend applications using GitHub, ADO, and Jenkins (as needed for legacy support).

Manage pipeline triggers, environment variables, approval gates, and deployment strategies (canary, blue-green, etc.).

☁️ Infrastructure Automation & Configuration Management

Implement Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) using tools like Terraform, Bicep, or ARM templates.

Automate environment provisioning and configuration in Azure or AWS cloud environments.

Maintain and optimize containerized workloads with Docker and orchestrate deployments via Kubernetes (AKS/EKS).

Requirements:

5+ years of hands-on experience in DevOps engineering roles.

Deep expertise with GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, and Jenkins.

Proven experience migrating CI/CD pipelines from legacy platforms (e.g., Jenkins/ADO) to GitHub.

Strong scripting skills (Bash, PowerShell, YAML, Python preferred).

Familiarity with IaC tools (Terraform, Bicep) and cloud platforms (Azure, AWS).

Experience with containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes).

Excellent communication and collaboration skills; ability to work cross-functionally in Agile/Scrum teams.
