Security Supervisor - Overnight

Saturday-Sunday

12:00am-08:00am

$25.00/hr

Job Summary: USI is seeking high level security supervisors for an industrial site. Interior and exterior patrols of the property, buildings and facilities, and monitor those areas to ensure Security and Safety. The Supervisor will respond to emergency situations ranging from fire and door alarms to medical and police responses. The Supervisor will respond to take reports, conduct preliminary investigations of incidents, and generate detailed reports of the same.

Responsibilities include:

  • Interact/Assist with a variety of persons, including staff, employees of the property, clients, visitors, contractors, vendors, public safety officials, and the general public by greeting, directing, and responding to a variety of service requests.
  • Interior and exterior tours of the buildings and facility.
  • Assist in building evacuation.
  • Tactfully and courteously issue verbal warnings to individuals violating safety rules and regulations and prepare written documentation of the incident.
  • While conducting patrols, the Supervisor will record all fire and safety hazards, unsecured doors/buildings, broken windows, broken locks, burned-out exterior lights, graffiti and any property damage.
  • Support the Director of Security with running an efficient staff, training new officers, auditing shift paperwork and overseeing the operation of his shift.
  • Prepare and submit completed reports on observed or reported incidents or complaints and shall assure that all statements are accurate and complete as required.
  • Perform all client security needs and requirements.
  • Review all security logs and incident reports generated by staff before submitting them to the Director of Security.

Skill Requirements

  • Position requires excellent verbal & written communication skills.
  • Must have experience in providing detailed case reports.
  • Excellent computer skills with high level of proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint
  • Maintain the highest ethical and professional standards.
  • Must be able to multi-task and self-manage in a dynamic environment.
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Ability to sit or stand for long periods of time
  • Ability to conduct foot patrols frequently
