We're looking for a talented Program Manager to join our team supporting a complex Federal Government customer in Northern Virginia (Alexandria/Falls Church area). This individual will lead a large-scale enterprise IT operations program, overseeing multidisciplinary technical and operational teams while ensuring exceptional service delivery, operational excellence, and successful program execution. The ideal candidate has extensive experience managing enterprise IT, infrastructure, or data operations programs in mission-critical environments and is skilled at collaborating with Government leadership, technical stakeholders, and contractor teams.

Work Location:

  • Onsite – Northern Virginia (Alexandria/Falls Church area)

Clearance:
Must be a U.S. Citizen with the ability to obtain and maintain the required Government security clearance.

Primary Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Lead the successful execution of a large enterprise IT and data services program supporting a Federal Government customer.
  • Provide strategic leadership to multidisciplinary technical and operational teams across multiple functional areas.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for Government executives, program managers, and technical stakeholders.
  • Manage program scope, schedule, budget, quality, performance, and risk throughout the program lifecycle.
  • Lead Integrated Project Teams (IPTs) and facilitate executive-level planning, governance, and decision-making.
  • Foster collaboration between Government personnel, prime contractors, subcontractors, and technical teams to ensure successful program delivery.
  • Oversee enterprise IT service delivery while ensuring compliance with Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and ITIL best practices.
  • Drive operational excellence through continuous process improvement, performance metrics, and service optimization.
  • Balance day-to-day operational stability with modernization initiatives while minimizing mission disruption.
  • Provide strategic oversight of enterprise data architecture, data lifecycle management, and enterprise data services.
  • Collaborate with technical leadership to support enterprise data governance, metadata management, and data quality initiatives.
  • Oversee modernization efforts involving cloud and hybrid infrastructures supporting enterprise data platforms.
  • Ensure successful integration of enterprise systems, applications, and data services across complex IT environments.
  • Support the adoption of modern data platforms and emerging technologies that enable advanced analytics and AI initiatives.

Required Education, Experience, & Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or a related field (or equivalent combination of education and experience).
  • Demonstrated experience managing large-scale enterprise IT, infrastructure, or data operations programs of similar size and complexity.
  • Proven success leading multidisciplinary technical and operational teams within complex enterprise environments.
  • Experience communicating with Government executives, program managers, Contracting Officer Representatives (CORs/COTRs), and senior technical stakeholders.
  • Strong experience in program risk management, schedule management, quality assurance, and performance management.
  • Experience managing enterprise IT service delivery organizations operating under defined Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
  • Working knowledge of ITIL-based Incident, Problem, Change, Release, Configuration, and Service Request Management processes.
  • Experience managing enterprise data architecture and data lifecycle management initiatives.
  • Strong understanding of Microsoft SQL Server and relational database technologies.
  • Experience supporting enterprise data governance, metadata management, and data quality programs.
  • Experience overseeing business intelligence, reporting, dashboards, and enterprise analytics platforms.
  • Knowledge of enterprise search technologies and information discovery solutions.
  • Experience managing systems integration efforts across complex enterprise environments.
  • Familiarity with cloud and hybrid infrastructures supporting enterprise data services.
  • Understanding of modern data platforms and emerging technologies supporting advanced analytics, data modernization, and AI initiatives.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple competing priorities within mission-critical production environments while driving continuous service improvement.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
  • ITIL Foundation v4 (or higher) certification.
  • Experience supporting large Federal Government IT modernization programs.
  • Experience leading enterprise data modernization, cloud migration, or digital transformation initiatives.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Azure, AWS, or hybrid cloud environments.
  • Experience with enterprise data warehouse, data lake, or data analytics platforms.
  • Knowledge of Power BI, Tableau, Microsoft Fabric, Databricks, Snowflake, or similar enterprise analytics technologies.
  • Experience with enterprise data governance tools such as Microsoft Purview, Collibra, or Informatica.
  • Strong executive communication, stakeholder engagement, and presentation skills.

Salary Range
$190,000-$210,000
The posted salary range represents the anticipated compensation for this position. Final compensation will be based on the selected candidate's qualifications, years of directly relevant experience, education, certifications, security clearance, contract requirements, and other business considerations.
