Program Coordinator

Position Summary

RBC Sargent Aerospace & Defense is seeking an enthusiastic learner to fill the role of Program

Coordinator. The Program Coordinator will be responsible for performing a variety of assigned duties under the direction of the Contract Manager to gain experience in Project Management, positioning them for growth within the organization. The ideal candidate will be someone who has experience working within diverse teams to accomplish complex tasks. Determination and a genuine desire to grow both personally and professionally are key components to success in this position.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Maintain project schedules, charters, and other project management related materials.
  • Coordinate and communicate with customers to ensure adherence to contract requirements and resolve project related issues.
  • Coordinate and communicate with the project team to adhere to schedule and budget.
  • Assist contract administrators with development of proposals and quotes.
  • Assist in preparing, organizing, and analyzing data sets to develop and provide monthly reports tracking business performance to senior management

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Associate’s degree or higher, and 2 years’ experience related to the roles and responsibilities above, or bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, or engineering management from an accredited university, or In lieu of a degree, minimum of 4 years of related job experience
  • Experience using MS Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Must be a US Citizen

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in Government Contracting
  • Experience in Manufacturing
  • Experience in Program or Project Management
  • Experience with technical writing
  • PMP
