About the Role:

This is a full-time, hourly, in-office role based at our Tempe, AZ headquarters (typically 38-45 hours per week). The role includes potential holiday shifts, along with overtime opportunities based on business need.

In this role, you will own the full journey of vehicle title and registration - from first document review to final transfer. You will be a key contact for customers, DMVs, lienholders, and internal partners, resolving complex title cases, processing registrations, and notarizing customer documents. This is a fast-paced, high-impact position where your work has a direct, visible effect on the customer experience every single day.

In this role, you will:

  • Review, process, and complete documentation required to transfer a vehicle title, ensuring all forms are accurate and compliant with state-specific regulations
  • Contact customers, DMVs, lienholders, and third parties to collect missing or corrected documents and resolve complex title discrepancies
  • Input, cross-reference, and retrieve data across multiple databases and tracking systems with a high degree of accuracy
  • Process, finalize, and mail customer registration packets, and interact with state and county government licensing departments through multiple communication channels 
  • Serve as the voice of Carvana on inbound video calls to notarize customer documents and guide them through their vehicle ownership transition
  • Maintain detailed, up-to-date customer records and case notes to keep every handoff seamless
  • Partner with peers, vendors, and internal teams across the business to problem-solve in real time and keep cases moving
  • Exhibit strong written penmanship for title work and manage assigned caseloads from open to close
  • Jump in where needed - special projects, team support, and other duties as the business evolves
  • Other duties as assigned

What You Bring:

  • Experience: 1-2 years of work experience in an administrative, data entry, or customer-facing capacity, and a genuine passion for getting the details right
  • Tech-savviness: Ability to navigate multiple systems like a pro, learn new tools with ease, and troubleshoot effectively
  • Resilience & Critical Thinking: You have a high capacity for learning, can adapt quickly to rapid change, and make thoughtful, careful decisions that keep customers and cases moving in the right direction
  • Attention to Detail: You enjoy digging into casework - cross-referencing documents, catching discrepancies, and making sure every title transfer is clean and complete
  • Notary: Ability to obtain a Remote Online Notary (RON) certification and/or local Notary commission within 90 days. Some states may require additional certification - Carvana sponsors the entire process
  • Document Experience: experience with vehicle titles, DMV processes, or government licensing preferred

Training

Training (approximately 2-4 weeks) will be paid at the full-time hourly rate! To best set you up for success, we are unable to grant time off during the training period. You will be required to demonstrate proficiency to graduate from training.

Schedule

At Carvana, we thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic, and ever-changing environment. This is a full-time, hourly position with work hours that may fluctuate based on business needs.Our operational hours cover Monday through Sunday, 6am - 6pm. Because your shift could include early mornings, evenings, or required weekend days, open schedule availability is required. All shifts provide two consecutive days off. We have bi-annual performance based shift bids where your schedule may change.

Shift Options: We offer two primary shift schedules:

  • 5x8: Five days a week, eight hours per day
  • 4x10: Four days a week, ten hours per day

Overtime may be required during peak periods such as tax season.
