Description

Job Summary: Pacific Recycling is a family-owned metal recycling company with locations in Eugene, Klamath Falls, and White City, Oregon. For over 30 years, we have built our reputation on excellent customer service, safe working environments, and a team of hardworking, dependable people. We are seeking an Administrative Operations Manager to serve as the administrative leader and primary site contact for our Klamath Falls facility. This role is ideal for someone who is highly organized, comfortable with technology, enjoys problem-solving, and thrives in a fast-paced environment.


Key Responsibilities:


Scale House Operations: Prepare and process scale tickets; weigh inbound and outbound material; verify pricing and ticket accuracy; process customer payments in compliance with company policies and state regulations; balance cash tills and reconcile transactions.

Customer Service & Communication: Serve as the primary point of contact for customers, vendors, and visitors; answer phones and respond to inquiries; resolve customer concerns and ensure a positive experience; coordinate communication between the Klamath Falls facility and Eugene leadership.

Administrative Operations: Coordinate dispatch requests and driver scheduling; maintain facility records and documentation; assist with employee onboarding and administrative paperwork; support performance review and employee documentation processes; manage office filing and recordkeeping systems; coordinate travel arrangements and other administrative needs.

Safety & Compliance: Maintain safety records and documentation; enter incident reports and safety information into company systems; assist with compliance reporting and regulatory documentation; coordinate required inspections, certifications, and administrative follow-up activities.

Purchasing & Vendor Coordination: Order office supplies, PPE, and approved operating materials; obtain quotes from vendors and contractors; coordinate approved facility repairs and maintenance projects; assist with inventory replenishment and purchasing coordination.

Technology & Systems: Utilize company software systems for scale operations, documentation, reporting, and communication; create and maintain spreadsheets and reports; leverage technology and AI tools to improve efficiency and communication; troubleshoot basic office technology issues and coordinate support when necessary.


Requirements:

Strong organizational and time management skills

Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office and proficiency in Excel

Strong written and verbal communication skills

Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and adapt to changing priorities

Customer service experience

Valid driver's license


Preferred Qualifications:
