Qualifications:

  • A bachelor's level degree from an accredited institution

  • 10+ years of work experience in supply planning, supply chain, or operations

  • Advanced proficiency with MS Office tools

  • Advanced proficiently in SAP, Oracle or other ERP software.

  • Successful track record of establishing, executing, and improving inventory and planning processes

  • Employees must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Verification of employment eligibility will be required at the time of hire. 

Summary: The Master Planning Manager is responsible for leading the Sales, Inventory & Operations Planning (SIOP) process for the Ti-Mill segment by developing an accurate, consensus-based demand plan and balancing customer demand with manufacturing capacity. This role partners closely with Commercial, Operations, Manufacturing, Finance, and Customer Service to develop short and long term demand and supply plan that supports business objectives while optimizing inventory, capacity utilization, and customer service.

The Master Planning Manager provides strategic analysis of demand trends, capacity constraints, inventory levels, and commercial opportunities, translating complex data into actionable recommendations for senior leadership. This position drives continuous improvement in forecasting accuracy, planning processes, and cross-functional collaboration. This role will work cross functionally and cross site to ensure performance to key metrics including OTIF (On Time in Full), Arrears Dollars, On Time Starts and Theory of Constraints.

Essential Functions:

  • Develop and improve the process for developing the sales plan and inventory strategies monthly, quarterly and annually, reconciling with the commercial revenue outlook and understanding the impact on upstream assets.

  • Supports the Ti-Mill segment by maintaining and improving processes for product planning, demand planning, and forecasting to improve cost performance and on-time delivery.

  • Analyzes trends, statistical models, sales plans, delivery history, customer input, and other drivers to develop and improve profitability and on time delivery.

  • Analyzes current orders to balance demand against forecasted consumption while tracking performance to the demand plan.

  • Analyzes current delivery performance, evaluating performance against plan and identifying problem areas

  • Supports locations to develop accurate raw material strategies, priorities in production and delivery risk mitigation.

  • Measures and improves demand forecast accuracy and delivery performance.

  • Collaborates across Sales, Operations, Manufacturing, and Supply Chain to convert supply and demand information into actionable plans.

  • Works with the commercial team to prioritize demand when supply constrained

  • Identifies forecast risks and develops effective risk mitigation plans.

  • Work towards a synergistic supply chain model so that all the links in the chain are visible and tied into the system parameters.

  • Lead monthly supply chain review to steer areas of focus by use of a Supply Chain Monitor and Scorecard.

  • Manage a team of material planners on successful application and utilization of material.
