Your Role
Victoria's Secret Beauty is looking for an Operations Planner to join the team! This role manages supply chain planning, costing, financial communication, on-time delivery, and inventory for specific business categories. This role is a trusted advisor for both internal cross-functional partners and external vendors. This person has exceptional attention to detail, strong communication and influencing skills, and is motivated working in a fast-paced environment.
Your Impact
Vendor Management
  • Responsible for ordering and management of Component Inventory and Finished Goods

  • Manage S&OP between vendor and Victoria's Secret Beauty business

  • Ensure vendor OT&C accountability is at 95% or higher

  • Ensure finished product is delivered to warehouses in a timely manner; work in conjunction with vendors to prioritize production

  • Expedite shipments / production to meet speed initiatives

  • Short-term and long-term capacity planning

  • Issue component and finished good purchase orders and negotiate with vendors to secure production

  • Communicate new launch forecasts and medium-range receipt plans

  • Partner with vendors to identify future supply chain requirements

Brand Management
  • Build relationship as a trusted advisor

  • Manage speed-to-market initiatives

  • Responsible for communicating/updating changes to open orders: status reporting to cross-functional partners (OT&C accountability at 95%)

  • Review and communicate feasibility and timing for all buy requests

  • Informs cross-functional partners of excess inventory in Semi Annual Sales and Clearance buys; assist with component run-outs to reduce inventory liability

  • Partners with cross-functional partners to develop new launch and medium range receipt plan

  • Understand and support business and process changes by utilizing a speed and agility mindset

  • Identify opportunities to reduce lead times

  • Identify opportunities to gain agility within the supply chain

Inventory Management
  • Responsible for the data integrity of Material Requirement Planning (MRP) that will enable a consistent planning horizon

  • Execute buys using SAP MRP

  • Manage to component inventory targets

  • Manage detailed Bill of Material (BOM) accuracy (waste factors and usage); work closely with Inventory Control during Book to Book to identify and resolve BOM issues

  • Assist Inventory Control with Physical Inventory and provide support to resolve issues

  • Provide justification for excess inventory in quarterly review of Excess and Obsolete reconciliation

  • Conduct End of Season inventory management planning; execute ad hoc cycle counts and run outs to reduce liability

  • Analyze data, reviewing reports, and resolve issues to maintain a clean Book of Business with focus on inventory turns

Your Experience
  • Bachelor's Degree in related field

  • APICS, CPIM a plus

  • 3-5 years of production planning, supply chain, or inventory management experience

  • Experience in manufacturing and/or consumer goods/retail preferred

  • Solid business acumen and ability to make recommendations and business decisions in partnership with leader

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with demonstrated initiative and ability to achieve results

  • Ability to build and foster strong trusted advisor relationships with internal and external partners

  • System and computer proficiency (SAP, MSOffice)
