We are currently seeking an experienced Warehouse Operations Supervisor to join our Warehouse Operations team in Spokane, WA. This role is ideal for a motivated leader with a strong background in distribution and warehouse operations, including receiving, order scheduling, inventory control, order selection, storage, loading, and will-call coordination.


Your Week to Week as one of our Warehouse Operations Supervisors:

  • Manage timely data collection to update operations metrics to achieve productivity targets, reduce cost per unit, eliminate errors, and deliver excellent customer service.
  • Forecast staffing, workload, and performance results to meet business demands for workload and performance results for area of responsibility.
  • Prepare, review, and/or analyze reports, and use information to identify operational improvements (e.g., production, quality, safety).
  • Assist with maintaining and training a staff that can carry out the immediate and future needs of the company by communicating clear expectations that drive performance and personal accountability.
  • Lead a high-performance culture in which team members are motivated, highly engaged and empowered with trust to achieve a safe work environment with best-in-class quality, cost control and efficiency.
  • Oversee and monitor inbound and outbound activities in the warehouse (grocery, frozen, chilled and Repack/GM/HBC).
  • Advise managers of operational condition, especially any situation that may create a current or future problem.
  • Assure teams remain compliant with sanitation/safety requirements according to FSMA, WISHA and Federal OSHA regulations.
  • Delegate responsibilities & assign personnel to carry them out. Follow up on the execution of assigned responsibilities to determine adequacy of performance.
  • Ensure all policies and procedures are followed to minimize product loss and damage, including but not limited to inventory damages, inventory exceptions, claims, and transfers.
  • Create partnerships as a team player with management across the organization.
  • Foster individual employee development through a variety of daily engagements such as: coaching, mentoring, and training.
  • Analyze existing business processes and logic that impact inventory throughout the company through personal observation and user interaction.
  • Sustain a strong reputation for ethics and credibility within the company.
  • Scheduled shifts may vary from days to swing shift and will be discussed during interviews.
  • Achieve production objectives and perform other duties as assigned.

To Be a Successful Candidate, You will Need the Following Experience:

  • Successful working experience in a lead/supervisor/management role in an operations facility.
  • Ability to execute supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws, including but not limited to training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office: Outlook, Word, Excel.
  • Comfortable working in an extremely fast-paced environment with rapid and everchanging priorities.
  • Professional demeanor, keen social awareness skills with developed interpersonal communication skills to effectively interact with all parties involved with our business.
  • Must have high-level of integrity, dependability, and a strong work ethic with a keen sense of urgency and results oriented approach.
  • Excellent leadership and motivational skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to influence others and to create cross-functional alignment.
  • Must possess excellent communication skills, especially in the development of actions plans and to ensure accountability and follow through.
