Summary of Functions
The Network Operations Manager is responsible for the reliable, secure, and efficient operation of enterprise infrastructure systems supporting gaming, resort, and corporate operations. This role ensures that network, systems, and core platforms consistently meet the availability, performance, and security requirements of a 24/7 regulated gaming environment.
The position leads infrastructure operations and establishes operational standards that enable consistent, scalable, and compliant service delivery. Success in this role is measured by infrastructure availability, service reliability, security control effectiveness, and team performance.
The role translates business and operational requirements into stable, supportable technology services and ensures infrastructure capabilities align with organizational priorities, regulatory obligations, and service expectations. The position provides operational insight and recommendations to support infrastructure planning and technology decisions, in partnership with IT leadership, while maintaining primary accountability for service delivery and operational performance.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Infrastructure Operations & Service Reliability
  • Ensures infrastructure availability and performance required to support uninterrupted gaming, resort, and enterprise operations
  • Defines, monitors, and maintains service level performance (e.g., availability, response, and resolution targets) aligned with business and operational requirements
  • Sustains system reliability through structured lifecycle management, including maintenance, upgrades, and capacity planning
  • Maintains operational readiness for system recovery and continuity in alignment with established recovery objectives

Cybersecurity Operations & Compliance Execution
  • Ensures infrastructure environments operate within defined security and regulatory requirements through execution of security controls and timely remediation of vulnerabilities
  • Ensures infrastructure operations are audit-ready through consistent documentation, control validation, and issue resolution
  • Coordinates response and resolution of security-related events to minimize impact and prevent recurrence

Team Leadership & Operational Accountability
  • Leads a high-performing infrastructure operations team by establishing clear expectations, accountability, and adherence to service and operational standards

  • Aligns vendor activities and support with operational priorities and infrastructure needs
  • Provides input into infrastructure budget planning and manages resources within assigned scope to ensure efficient service delivery

Supervisory Responsibilities
  • Directly supervises Senior Network Administrator(s) and/or Systems Administrators (typically 2-6 team members)
  • Responsible for hiring, onboarding, performance management, disciplinary action, and termination decisions
  • Establishes team priorities, schedules, and operational coverage
  • Provides technical guidance and ensures adherence to operational standards
  • May oversee vendor resources supporting infrastructure

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field required
  • Relevant combination of experience and education may be considered in lieu of degree (two years of relevant experience for each year of education)

Experience
  • Minimum 6-8 years of progressive IT infrastructure experience in enterprise environments
  • Minimum 3 years of leadership or supervisory experience with accountability for team performance
  • Experience supporting highly available environments with 24/7 operational requirements
  • Experience in regulated industries (gaming, healthcare, finance, or similar) preferred
  • Demonstrated experience with hybrid infrastructure environments (on-premises and cloud platforms such as Microsoft Azure)

  • Ability to manage 24/7 infrastructure operations with accountability for uptime and service continuity
  • Strong understanding of enterprise infrastructure environments, including network, server, and cloud platforms, from an operational support perspective

  • Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays when required by business needs
