Executive Leadership Position

Status: Full-Time | Non-Exempt

Position Overview

The Director of Operations provides strategic leadership for the restaurant's daily operations and long-term growth. This individual partners closely with the Operator to execute the restaurant’s vision by leading directors, developing future leaders, improving operational systems, and driving financial performance.

Success in this role is measured not only by operational results but also by the development of people, stewardship of resources, and the ability to create a culture in which excellence becomes the standard.

Qualifications

Preferred Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Hospitality, Management, or a related field preferred.
  • 4 or more years of progressive leadership experience in operations or restaurant management
  • Demonstrated experience leading and developing teams and leaders
  • Strong financial acumen and operational management experience.
  • Experience with financial management for a business, including budgeting, cost control, and profitability analysis
  • Experience overseeing operational systems to ensure food safety, quality standards, and efficient service

Required

  • Ability to reside within, or be willing to relocate to, a 30-minute driving radius of the restaurant.
  • Ability to respond to operational needs, provide leadership support during peak business periods, and be available for urgent situations when necessary.
  • Ability to pass and maintain the ServSafe Food Manager certification
  • Exceptional communication, coaching, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work full-time in a fast-paced restaurant environment, including standing/walking for extended periods and occasionally lifting up to 40 pounds
  • Availability to work Monday through Saturday, including mornings, evenings, some Sundays, and holidays as business needs require.
