Operations Manager

Production, Shipping & Warehouse Start Up


Chemtek is seeking an experienced and motivated manager with the drive and leadership skills to open a new blending and warehouse facility in Waterloo, IA. This position is key to ensuring our products are manufactured, packaged, and delivered on timesafely, efficiently, and with the highest quality standards.


This is a "Hands On" working supervisor's position where you will not only lead, but work in each role, learning the businss annd buillding your team.


What Youll Do

Manufacturing & Warehouse Operations

  • Be the "Go-To" guy as we start up production and warehouse activities from an empty building to a working unit.
  • Help in procurement, placement and start-up of blending and warehouse operatiojns.
  • Hire and supervise a small team of a small team of 2-3 Employees
  • Oversee day-to-day manufacturing, warehousing and shipping operations

Shipping & Logistics

  • Manage all shipping operations to guarantee on-time deliveries.
  • Coordinate packaging and quality control to meet customer expectations.

Safety & Quality

  • Lead and enforce safety safety protocols.
  • Maintain high-quality standards throughout production and shipping.

Customer Experience

  • Support Chemteks customer first philosophy by ensuring every order leaves our facility correct, compliant, and on time.


What Were Looking For

  • 5+ years of experience in manufacturing, shipping, or plant operations.
  • Proven leadership and managerial experience.
  • Strong organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • A hands-on leader who motivates teams and drives continuous improvement.
  • A willingess to do wahtever it takes to get the job done.
