Summary
The Senior Manager position will hold the responsibility for the overall safe and efficient operation and maintenance of the Rough Rider assets within North Dakota and will report out of our North Dakota headquarters located in Watford City, ND. Rough Rider facilities include Rough Rider Crude General Field, Beartooth Saltwater System, and the Rough Rider Midstream assets in ND.
• Responsible for the overall safe and efficient operation and maintenance of all pipeline systems within North Dakota.
• Directs the operation and maintenance of pipeline systems through the management of North Dakota supervisors and supporting staff departments.
• Monitors administration of company policy.
• Evaluate employee performance and goal achievement.
• Responsible for review of and implementation of North Dakota expense and capital budgets.
• Provides guidance to resolve operational problems as required.
• Works unified with shared service departments to maintain consistency with all areas of business and maximize benefits of all departments.
• Supports capital projects through project commissioning activities.
• Ensures compliance with federal, state, and local regulations and company policy.
Requirements:
Education and/or Experience, Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential job duty satisfactorily. The requirements for this position are listed below:
• Minimum of B.S. degree or equivalent experience with 10 years of experience or equivalent work experience.
• Broad and varied experience in the maintenance and operations of pipelines.
• Must be able to perform in a fast-paced ever-changing environment, and simultaneously manage numerous activities at once.
• Sound technical, operational, administrative, and maintenance judgment and decision-making skills are required.
• Proven ability to manage large numbers of employees.
• Minimum 10 years of industry experience and preferred a minimum 5+ years in previous leadership role.
• Excellent interpersonal, oral and written communication skills required.
Preferred Experience
• Familiar with regulatory guidelines of government agencies and with the Incident Command System concerning emergency response.
• Previous experience as Incident Commander.
• Experience staffing and hiring field teams.
Special Considerations
• This position will support the hiring and staffing process for the entire pipeline segment before commissioning.
• Position subject to being on call 24 hours, 7 days per week.
• Ability to respond to emergencies as required.
The long-term position is subject to travel throughout North Dakota.

• Usually, normal office working conditions.
• Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time due to prolonged periods of sitting or standing.
• Occasional overnight travel may be required.
