As Legacy continues to expand its plumbing division across Northern Indiana, we are seeking a strong, peoplefocused Operations Manager to lead, develop, and grow a highperforming plumbing team in the Elkhart market.

Key Responsibilities
  • Recruit, hire, train, and develop plumbers and plumbing technicians to support department growth
  • Manage daytoday plumbing operations with a focus on efficiency, quality workmanship, and customer satisfaction
  • Partner with dispatch to optimize scheduling and technician productivity
  • Establish clear daily expectations and motivate the team through consistent, visible leadership
  • Implement performance standards, accountability systems, and ongoing coaching
  • Ensure exceptional service across plumbing diagnostics, repairs, installations, and water heater replacements
  • Uphold Legacy Heating & Air’s values, service standards, and customereducation culture
  • Track performance metrics and continuously improve departmental results

What You Bring
  • Proven experience leading a plumbing team or managing a plumbing department is preferred; however, we welcome strong leaders with demonstrated success in operational or field service leadership roles
  • A track record of developing technicians and building strong, engaged teams
  • Inspirational leadership style with excellent communication and coaching skills
  • A customerfocused mindset with high standards for professionalism and craftsmanship
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fastpaced service environment
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office; ServiceTitan experience is a plus
  • Knowledge of Indiana plumbing codes and regulations preferred
