With experience across agriculture, off-the-road (OTR), passenger and light truck, and truck and bus radial (TBR) segments, the company partners with manufacturers to support critical distribution needs. These services include domestically held safety stock, new product launches and emerging segments, and unique products such as agricultural and construction tracks. Flex Tire Solutions is known for competitive pricing, professional operations, and a rapidly expanding national footprint. Current capacity is available in Missouri, Ohio, and South Carolina with additional facilities planned.


Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Operations Manager role based in Houston, TX. The Operations Manager oversees daily warehouse and logistics activities, including receiving, storage, inventory control, and outbound shipments for tire and related products. This role coordinates staffing, schedules, and workflows to ensure safety, accuracy, and timely order fulfillment, while maintaining standard operating procedures and quality controls. The Operations Manager monitors performance metrics, manages vendor and carrier relationships, and collaborates with leadership on process improvements and cost efficiencies. The position also involves training team members, enforcing safety and compliance standards, and supporting the integration of new customers, products, and locations.


Qualifications

  • Experience in operations management, warehouse or 3PL logistics, preferably within industrial products, automotive, or tire-related sectors.
  • Skills in inventory management, process optimization, and workflow planning to ensure accurate, efficient handling and storage of products.
  • Proficiency with logistics and warehouse systems (e.g., WMS, ERP) and basic data analysis for tracking KPIs and operational performance.
  • Strong leadership, team supervision, and coaching abilities, including conflict resolution and performance management.
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills for working with internal teams, customers, and carriers.
