Job description

Job purpose

The Operations Coordinator supports the Materials, Logistics, & Production Manager in organizing a wide variety of tasks such as shipping/receiving, quality assurance, and clerical work. They will ensure the smooth flow of production through organization and attention to detail allowing for optimal productivity.

Essential Duties and responsibilities

  • Ensure that work areas are safe, clean, organized & free from hazards (refer to manuals)
  • Maintain all appropriate production records, quality records, reports & audits
  • Maintain inventory of shipping materials as well as supplies
  • Assist in maintaining the ISO system (Calibrations, Audits, and Document Control)
  • Serve as an integral member of the continuous improvement team
  • Familiar with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and Access)
  • Other duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications

  • HS Diploma / GED
  • 2 year degree preferred
  • Experience in related field preferred

Physical Demands and Work Environment

  • May be exposed to loud noises, dirt, dust & fumes; working around moving equipment will be encountered
  • Generally working in Office with some activities in production environment.
  • Repetitive motion
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds – lifting devices are available
