Job description

Operations Manager, Landscape

Our client is a commercial landscape firm that has been servicing the greater Atlanta market for more than 20 years. They are currently searching for an Operations Manager to oversee the delivery of landscape maintenance services to a portfolio of commercial clients.

This position will be responsible for the overall success of a $1 million portfolio of commercial client accounts.

Job Duties

Oversee 5 crews/ foremen and ensure the quality of work performed meets the standards by conducting weekly inspections and following up with direct reports plans of action.

Manage the productivity of teams to ensure that gross profit goals are met. Build a positive working culture that motivates and retains employees.

Visit and walk clients' properties to verify work has been completed at a satisfactory level. Deliver accurate reports using Excel on a regular basis and communicate with the Account Manager who is ultimately in charge of the client relationship about the current status of a property and potential opportunities.

An ideal candidate is someone who has a minimal of 3 years within the green industry on the maintenance side.

Understand how to follow and implement safety and quality control programs.

Detail oriented, organized and have great follow-up skills.
Good at communicating with field staff and superiors about current status and goals.

Good at writing reports using the company software and Excel.

Fluency in Spanish is a plus but not required.

Need to have an acceptable driving record as this position comes with a company vehicle.

The compensation will include a base salary plus bonus, company truck, cell phone, computer, healthcare, 401k.
