However, we will begin reviewing applications on August 14. Performs difficult semiskilled work coordinating the operations of County parks, and related work as apparent or assigned.

Work is performed under the moderate supervision of the Parks Division Manager. Continuous supervision is exercised over assigned Park Attendants and Park Maintenance Technicians. Position Responsibilities Supervises, trains, schedules, and evaluates assigned personnel to ensure efficient operations and appropriate staffing levels. Coordinates daily operations of assigned parks and facilities Conduct routine inspections of parks, facilities, and equipment to ensure safety, quality, and compliance with department standards Coordinates work assignments and monitor operational activities to maintain service levels and address operational priorities Respond to public inquiries, complaints, and service requests while promoting positive customer service Assists with planning and coordinating special events and seasonal operations Prepares and maintains operational records, reports, schedules, and other required documentation Enforces departmental policies, park rules, and applicable safety standards Responds to after-hours operational needs, emergencies, and severe weather events as required Performs assigned functions as a Disaster Ready Team (DRT) member, if appointed or volunteering. Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications General knowledge of parks operations and customer service practices; strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with ability to resolve minor staff conflicts professionally; ability to follow written and verbal instructions and enforce rules and expectations fairly and consistently; ability to maintain digital records, prepare reports, and use basic office software (email, Word, Excel, etc.); ability to work a flexible schedule, including late evenings, weekends, and holidays; ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing; ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with staff, supervisors, and the public. Education, Experience, and Special Requirements High school diploma or GED and considerable experience in security and public contact, or equivalent combination of education and experience. This work requires the regular exertion of up to 10 pounds of force, frequent exertion of up to 25 pounds of force and occasional exertion of up to 50 pounds of force; work regularly requires standing, walking and using hands to finger, handle or feel, frequently requires speaking or hearing, climbing or balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching or crawling, reaching with hands and arms, pushing or pulling, lifting and repetitive motions and occasionally requires sitting and tasting or smelling; work has standard vision requirements; vocal communication is required for expressing or exchanging ideas by means of the spoken word and conveying detailed or important instructions to others accurately, loudly or quickly; hearing is required to perceive information at normal spoken word levels and to receive detailed information through oral communications and/or to make fine distinctions in sound; work requires visual inspection involving small defects and/or small parts, using of measuring devices, assembly or fabrication of parts within arms length, operating machines, operating motor vehicles or equipment and observing general surroundings and activities; work regularly requires exposure to outdoor weather conditions and occasionally requires wet, humid conditions (non-weather), working near moving mechanical parts, working in high, precarious places, exposure to fumes or airborne particles, exposure to toxic or caustic chemicals, exposure to extreme cold (non-weather), exposure to extreme heat (non-weather), exposure to the risk of electrical shock, exposure to vibration and exposure to bloodborne pathogens and may be required to wear specialized personal protective equipment; work is generally in a moderately noisy location (e.g

business office, light traffic). Salary will be determined based on qualifications, internal equity, budget and market considerations.
