Located in Managua, our company also features a nursery stocked with plants, rocks, and colored mulches for any landscaping project. Role Description

We are seeking a full-time Field Operations Manager to join our team on-site in Park City Utah. The Field Operations Manager will oversee daily landscaping and snow removal projects, manage crews and schedules, ensure quality control, and maintain consistent communication with clients. Responsibilities include field inspections, coordinating equipment and materials, problem-solving operational challenges, and ensuring adherence to safety standards. The role also requires planning and optimizing operations in alignment with seasonal demands and company goals.


Qualifications

  • Strong project management and organizational skills for overseeing multiple tasks and schedules.
  • Technical knowledge of landscaping, snow removal, excavation, and related operations.
  • Leadership skills to manage teams effectively and foster collaboration.
  • Proficiency in communication and customer relationship management.
  • Ability to analyze and solve operational challenges promptly.
  • Familiarity with safety protocols and regulatory compliance in field operations.
  • Experience with equipment and material coordination is a plus.
  • Fluency in Spanish is a must, and English proficiency is advantageous.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; additional certifications or degrees in a related field are a plus.


Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  1. Oversee Multiple Crews/Crew Members – Supervise and support multiple Crew Leaders and their teams to ensure efficient project execution across various job sites.
  2. Ensure Compliance with Job Plans & Schedules – Monitor project progress, enforce adherence to plans, and ensure deadlines and quality standards are met.
  3. Required to be Fluent in English & Spanish and be able to Read Site Plans and Utilize Scales and other tools to ensure site plan compliance.
  4. Hold Crew Leaders Accountable – Evaluate Crew Leaders’ performance, provide coaching, and ensure they are managing their teams effectively.
  5. Enforce Safety & Compliance – Ensure all crews follow safety regulations, wear proper PPE, and adhere to company policies and industry standards.
  6. Conduct Site Inspections & Quality Control – Regularly visit job sites to inspect work quality, address issues, and ensure standards are upheld. Document site inspections in Aspire.
  7. Problem-Solving & Decision-Making – Identify and resolve job site challenges, ensuring minimal disruptions to the project schedule.
  8. Manage Resource Allocation – Ensure crews have the necessary materials, equipment, and manpower to complete assigned tasks efficiently.
  9. Coordinate with Management & Clients – Serve as a liaison between upper management, clients, and Crew Leaders to ensure smooth communication and operations.
  10. Oversee Equipment & Vehicle Use – Monitor the proper use and maintenance of company vehicles, tools, and heavy equipment.
  11. Track & Report Job Progress – Document job site performance, crew productivity, and any incidents, reporting key updates to management.
  12. Support Hiring & Training – Assist in hiring, onboarding, and training new crew members and Crew Leaders to maintain a skilled workforce.
  13. Ensure Budget Adherence – Monitor project costs, labor efficiency, and material usage to ensure projects remain within budget.
  14. Drive Continuous Improvement – Identify areas for operational improvement and implement strategies to increase efficiency and productivity.
