This role is part of our Tactical Missiles and Integrated Defense Systems business, which designs and develops integrated missile and defense systems that support critical missions across air, land, and sea. We combine comprehensive analysis, engineering, and program execution capabilities to deliver mission-tailored solutions that reduce lead times, lower costs, and simplify complex multi-vendor supply chains. Backed by decades of flight-proven and fielded performance, we design and build mission-critical technologies including launch systems, propulsion, payload integration solutions, UAV components, missile subsystems, and Safe & Arm systems.
In this role, you will oversee operational performance across manufacturing value streams and quality assurance functions. You will lead teams, coordinate resources, maintain safe work environments, and drive continuous improvement initiatives. Your leadership will play a critical part in meeting production goals, elevating operational efficiency, and ensuring high-quality outputs that support program execution.
Responsibilities
- Oversees and coordinates operational activities across manufacturing value streams to support production goals.
- Maintains a safe working environment and ensures compliance with operational standards.
- Builds and develops strong teams through training, coaching, and leadership development.
- Leads cross-functional teams to achieve key performance indicators including productivity, quality, delivery, and cost.
- Monitors and manages operational budgets, labor utilization, and resource planning.
- Manages personnel matters including performance issues, disciplinary actions, and evaluations.
- Ensures staff training and effective work management practices.
- Promotes continuous improvement across operations.
- Implements and sustains lean manufacturing practices such as 6S.
- Recommends resource, space, and capability enhancements and tracks related capital expenditure projects.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Minimum of 3 years of related experience.
- Proficiency with operational management tools including Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems such as Epicor, tracking tools such as MaintainX and Machine Metrics, and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong understanding of aerospace quality systems such as AS9100 and Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) compliance.
- Demonstrated success implementing lean manufacturing or continuous improvement initiatives.
- Exceptional communication, leadership, and team-building skills.
- A current U.S. Department of Defense (DoD) Secret security clearance or the ability to obtain and maintain one.

- Master’s degree in business administration.
