Operations Manager/Fiscal Officer Summary

The Brumback Library is seeking a detail-oriented, organized, and collaborative professional to join our team as Operations Manager/Fiscal Officer.

This is a full-time, exempt position responsible for supporting the libraryโ€™s financial and administrative operations, including budgeting, financial reporting, payroll, bookkeeping, human resources administration, foundation support, donor records, and facility oversight. The position also supervises custodial and on-call maintenance staff.

Position Details
  • Schedule:40 hours per week
  • Status:Full-time, exempt
  • Salary:Commensurate with education, qualifications, and experience
  • Benefits:Eligible for library benefits
  • Schedule:Occasional evening and weekend hours may be required
  • Board Meetings:Occasional attendance may be required

Payroll and bookkeeping experience is required. An associateโ€™s or bachelorโ€™s degree in accounting, finance, business administration, or a related field is preferred. Experience in governmental, nonprofit, public-sector, or library finance is a plus.

The Brumback Library is committed to a successful transition into this position. The selected candidate will work closely with our current staff member during an initial training period to become familiar with the libraryโ€™s financial systems, procedures, payroll processes, reporting requirements, and administrative operations. The goal is to provide thorough training and support before the successful candidate assumes these responsibilities independently.
