Operations Manager/Fiscal Officer Summary

The Brumback Library is seeking a detail-oriented, organized, and collaborative professional to join our team as Operations Manager/Fiscal Officer.

This is a full-time, exempt position responsible for supporting the library’s financial and administrative operations, including budgeting, financial reporting, payroll, bookkeeping, human resources administration, foundation support, donor records, and facility oversight. The position also supervises custodial and on-call maintenance staff.

Position Details
  • Schedule:40 hours per week
  • Status:Full-time, exempt
  • Salary:Commensurate with education, qualifications, and experience
  • Benefits:Eligible for library benefits
  • Schedule:Occasional evening and weekend hours may be required
  • Board Meetings:Occasional attendance may be required

Payroll and bookkeeping experience is required. An associate’s or bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, business administration, or a related field is preferred. Experience in governmental, nonprofit, public-sector, or library finance is a plus.

The selected candidate will work closely with our current staff member during an initial training period to become familiar with the library’s financial systems, procedures, payroll processes, reporting requirements, and administrative operations.
